Motorola has big plans for Android and is developing several handsets that run the Google open source OS. Android has proven to be very popular with both device makers and with consumers who are buying Android-powered handsets in droves.
Motorola has announced that it is unveiling a new developers program that helps developers build apps for Motorola Android devices faster and easier. The program is called MOTODEV Studio for Android Beta.


Sure, we had heard the rumors that Motorola’s Morrison handset would run Android, but until this pic today, they remained rumors. Aside from Android, there’s nothing really too surprising going on here. But just what are they aiming for with this?

Bluetooth headsets are not all created equal. I have used some in the past that were barely capable of making clear calls sitting at my desk, much less in the car or outside where wind enters into the equation.

Looks like Motorola’s QA4 is now fully official. The phone comes armed with a decent 2.8-inch WQVGA touchscreen, quad-band CDMA connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera, 256MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot for expansion, aGPS, stereo Bluetooth, and a sliding keypad.
If you like the Motorola Aura and love yourself some fake luxury, you’ll want to check out this latest knock-off. It adds the popular and overpriced Louis Vuitton treatment to Moto’s phone. It’s called the Imobile Phone V453.
Motorola introduced its VE465 semi-rugged clamshell handset, available on Alltel’s website. But there’s no word on pricing details just yet. Those living in Canada can check out the VE465 on Telus if inclined, where it shall be known as the “Motorola VE465 Active Edition”.
