Dell Adds 23-Inch Monitor with Webcam and Speakers

Dell UZ2315H 23 inch monitorDell had released a new 23-inch monitor that includes a couple common, but handy features. This is a full HD, LED backlit multimedia monitor that retails for around $374, which certainly doesn’t make it the best deal you’ll find on just a similar monitor. But, in the UZ2315H Dell has included a built-in 2.0MP webcam and integrated speakers, all optimized for Microsoft Lync.

The Dell monitor has a 178 degree viewing angle, meets the latest regulatory and environmental standards and has a highly adjustable stand and cable management, because you are going to have a couple extra cables connecting up the camera and speakers.

ViewSonic reveals 24-inch V3D245 3D monitor

Haven’t gone 3D yet. You are far from the only one. But if you want to get your 3D on, ViewSonic is offering this 24-inch V3D245 monitor. It features a 1080p LED-backlit panel, an NVIDIA 3D Vision wireless emitter and a pair of 3D Vision glasses.

Other features include a 120Hz refresh rate, two millisecond response time, HDMI 1.4 socket and 300 nits of brightness. There’s also a three-year limited warranty. It will cost you $499 later this month.

LG introduces the worlds first Glasses-Free 3D monitor with eye-tracking technology

LG Korea has announced the DX2000, a new 20” LED Backlight 3D Glasses-Free monitor that comes with an integrated Web Camera for basic Video Conference needs and it also features LG’s Eye Tracking technology.

It tracks your eyes in real-time and can fine-tune 3D images for the best experience no matter your position. LG also fitted its DX2000 with the usual 2D to 3D conversion technology and it will arrive on the market shortly in Korea.

AOC e2251Fwu USB-Powered LCD Monitor

AOC is getting ready to ship their latest USB-powered LCD Monitor: The e2251Fwu. It was shown off at the CEA Line Show in New York last week and will be available soon.

This 21.5-inch widescreen monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 200 cd/m2 brightness and a 5ms response time. Of course it is powered by USB. The AOC e2251Fwu will go on sale in August for an unknown price.

AOC is now selling their latest multi-touch LCD monitor dubbed the e2239Fwt in the US. It has a pretty nice design that should free up some space on your desk.

This 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and a 5ms response time. Other features include a pair of 2W SRS speakers, 2 USB ports, D-Sub and HDMI outputs. The AOC e2239Fwt is $289.99.

Eizo Releases 36.4-inch 4K2K Monitor In Japan

Eizo is getting ready to release the DuraVision FDH3601 in Japan. This 36.4-inch monitor packs in a 4K2K resolution (4,096 x 2,160), two DVI-D ports, two DisplayPort inputs, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 700cd/m2 brightness level and an 8ms response time.

Those are some great specs. And with great specs comes a not so great price. The Eizo DuraVision FDH3601 will be available in September 2011 for 2,880,000 Yen or about $35,871.

Acer T231H Multi-Touch Monitor Ships In The US

Available in the European market since August 2010, Acer’s multi-touch monitor ‘T231H’ has finally been shipped in the US. To refresh your memory, the 23-inch monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2ms response time and has both DVI and HDMI connectors.

The monitor also uses Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) technology, which can dynamically adjust the contrast of the screen to enhance the sharpness of the images. The Acer T231H will cost you $329.99. interested?

JVC DT-3D24G1 3D WUXGA Monitor With 3D RealD Glasses

The latest excuse to sell you on wearing dorky 3D glasses is the JVC DT-3D24G1 3D WUXGA Monitor which comes with said glasses. JVC’s new DT-3D24G1 24-inch 3D WUXGA monitor is said to offer excellent image quality and a robust design.

Philips Brilliance 273P3L 27-Inch Full HD Monitor

Philips has just unveiled another Full HD monitor with the introduction of the Brilliance 273P3L. Using PowerSensor technology, this new 27-inch LED-backlit monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 395 cd/m2 brightness and a 2ms response time.

As far as connectivity ports for your other stuff, you are covered. It has three USB 2.0, D-Sub, DVI as well as HDMI. The Brilliance 273P3L will be available soon for about 390 Euro (or about $550).

HP x2301 Ultra-thin LCD Monitor

We are used to our monitors being pretty thin these days, but not this thin. HP has introduced an ultra-thin LCD monitor that measures just 9.8mm thick. It weighs 7.7Lbs and the HP x2301 features a 1980×1080 (1080p) resolution with a 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 3ms GtG response time, and BrightView technology.

The x2301 is also mercury- and arsenic-free with Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Silver certifications. That means it is also great for the environment. This LCD display can also display 72% of the color gamut. Other features include DVI, HDMI and VGA ports. The HP x2301 is available on June 10, 2011 for $279.99.

HP outs Elite L2201x super slim 22-inch monitor

Are you looking for a slim monitor? How does a 22-incher sound? That’s the screen size, not the slimness. The Elite L2201x LED-backlit display measures just 0.4-inches thick. It features a 1920 x 1080 display, 5000:1 contrast ratio, and a DisplayPort.

It may not be the slimmest screen ever offered, but it looks pretty sexy and it’s just $250, which isn’t bad at all. The Elite L2201x arrives in the US on June 1st.

Antec Unveils LED BIAS Lighting

BIAS lighting, in case you don’t know, is not lighting that favors some individuals over others. (Although some cameras can make it seem this way.) BIAS lighting is lighting located behind a monitor, so that you aren’t staring at a bright monitor in complete darkness around it. They help reduce eyestrain.

Antech has a new bias light that uses LED lights and is affordable at just $12.95. It has six LEDs on the back that create a nice soft glow behind your screen. The light will fit a screen of up to 24-inches and is powered by a USB port. Your eyes will thank you.

LG E2770V-BF 27-Inch Full HD Monitor

Those looking for a largish computer monitor will want to take a good look at LG’s latest Full HD monitor, the E2770V-BF. It uses LG’s TruMotion technology, so it should perform well under most situations.

Acer has just unveiled their latest Full HD monitor, the H274H, for the European market. This one is targeted at gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. The 27-inch LED-backlight monitor has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/170 degree viewing angles.

As far as connectivity ports, you get D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. The H274H is available for purchase right now in Europe for 299 Euro (That’s $422 yankee dollars).
