We thought we would take a look at some questionable gaming tattoos. The kind that are either a bad idea or not well thought out, or just plain wrong. Gamers love getting tattoos of their favorite characters, but sometimes, they just need a friend to stop them from making a horrible mistake.

Nintendo has announced Wii Fit Plus. The new fitness software is planned for release this fall in two versions: bundled with the Wii Balance Board and as a stand-alone. Apparently, the new Wii Fit “moves in an added direction” beyond the original, letting users “create a specific workout program that’s perfect” for them. Six new strength and yoga activities can be tailored to your own tastes, depending on what goals you have. There’s also a revamped interface focused on creating seamless routines of 20, 30, 40 minutes.

Plus will also introduce 15 new minigames, like juggling, skateboarding and a game called “perfect 10″ were players move their hips to select numbers that add up to 10. It was dubbed, “Brain Age for your backside,”.

If you haven’t got yourself a DS Lite by now, I don’t know if these two new bundles are going to lure you in. And if you already own a DS lite, chances are you are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the DSi here in the states.

But if Nintendo has the urge to bundle, at least a few of you will have the urge to buy. The bundles come in an Ice Blue Brain Age set with custom carrying case and a Mario Red New Super Mario Bros set with “M” logo. They’re pretty nice looking and are being released this Friday for $150.

Why are geeks drawn to Legos? They’re fun sure. You can create original stuff and recreate almost anything imaginable. It probably has something to do with why the pyramids were constructed in Egypt. Here’s something that makes my cold geek heart melt, skip a beat and pop out of my chest cartoon style. This Lego version of Donkey Kong actually moves people! It moves! It’s alive! Rolling barrels roll. Donkey Kong throws rolling barrels at Mario and Mario jumps. Have a look at the video below.

Pretty awesome invention. I’m not joking when I say that it’s right up there with the toaster and the waffle maker. The guy even made it play the Donkey Kong game start song. If I were rich I would create a Think tank with guys like this, throw a trillion bucks at them and see what else they could do. I would advance geekery and nerdum ahead by a good thousand years.

Ok, so I have been sick of seeing Monopoly this and Monopoly that, for years now. Every time you turn around there’s a new one and I always imagine some lonely geek collecting each one and storing it away as they come out. But this latest Monopoly game I might actually buy and it might even make me want to play again.

This one features Mario, Luigi, Link, Zelda, Kirby, and other NES icons. The box comes with 6 collectible pewter tokens including Donkey Kong’s Barrel, Link’s Iron Boots, Hylian Shield, NES Controller, Mario’s Cap, and a Koopa Shell. I especially like the NES Controller. The Collectors Edition Nintendo Monopoly retails for just $33.00. As usual, it’s the same exact game. It just has Nintendo graphics everywhere.

Those that are game obsessed in China have a new gadget to keep their eyes glued to their mobile phone and it’s a blast from the past. The Century Sutra 1688 phone looks like any other generic mobile out there until you slide on the gamepad and turn it into a SNES thanks to the emulator chip inside of it.

Yup, now you can play Super Mario Bros. and other old school Nintendo games while killing time and your button mashing will be made a lot easier. The company gives you 1,500 ROM titles when you pick one of these up and it skirts around copyright issues by saying that you should only have all those warez if you also own the originals…which of course we all do, don’t we?
