Apple has best ever March quarter, $1.21b profit |
The economy may be in the crapper, but Apple hasn’t really noticed. They just keep on keeping on, selling iPods, iPhones and Macs to a hungry public. Apple just reported a $1.21b profit on revenues of $8.16b, making it another record quarter.
This when Mac sales fell three percent compared to last year. Luckily for them it was offset by a three percent increase in iPod sales (mostly the iPod touch), while iPhone sales jumped 123-percent.

Albatron doesn’t waste any time. After Microsoft announced Windows 7 would natively support multi-touch displays, Albatron was one of the first to quickly create a prototype panel to take advantage of that functionality. Here we are, seven months later and the company is ready to let you buy one.
According to Reigncom’s President, iriver will be releasing a cell phone early next year. The new iriver phone will be available from Korean carrier KT. The iriver phone concept had been previously spotted by many at CES 2008, but at the time iriver claimed the phone was just a concept. Well, seems like it’s for real now. We don’t have full specs yet, but we know the phone features a large touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and embedded access to Bugs Music Service, as well as handwriting recognition and multiple dictionaries on board. Should be available on March 9th.
