Luke Skywalker Jacket with Yavin Medal

Posted in Star Wars by Conner Flynn on April 24th, 2011

Fans of Star Wars will recognize this jacket right away, but the rest of you will need an explanation. This is the jacket worn by Luke at the end of episode 4, after the death star was destroyed and it was time to give out some medals.

Now you can own this awesome replica for just $148.50. Not a bad price for such a good replica. I hope everyone doesn’t show up at the next Star Wars convention wearing one though. That would be pretty embarrassing. Wait. Nothing embarrasses you guys.

When confronted with a beer bottle that doesn’t have a twist top, you can either use the force or use a bottle opener. With this bottle opener, you have the best of both worlds. It’s a lightsaber bottle opener that’s a replica of the one carried by Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi.

It’s made from stainless steel and is 5.5 inches long with a resin handle. It’s available for preorder at $17. May the force and the booze be with you, always.

Custom Luke Skywalker USB driveWe’ve seen our share of Star Wars USB drives around here. This one is by far the best, recreating that classic moment in Empire when Darth Vader cuts Luke’s hand off.

It was created by a talented Engadget reader. Obviously the USB input is accessed by severing Luke’s hand, which you can do again and again if you need to relive that classic moment. Why Luke’s face is melted is unclear. It’s not like he looked inside the Ark of the Covenant.

Plush Tauntaun with frozen Luke Skywalker

Plush Tauntaun with frozen Luke SkywalkerIt’s one of the most classic scenes to ever grace the silver screen. Han Solo goes in search of his buddy Luke. When he finds him, Luke is nearly dead from the cold. So when Han’s Tauntaun kicks the bucket, he slices that sucker open and places Luke inside it’s gooey belly warmth.

Yeah, this is like that, but plush. It’s a plush Tauntaun with frozen Luke Skywalker by Heidi Kenney. Luke can be removed and inserted again into the Tauntaun’s belly, which has a zipper. The Tauntaun will be part of the Stitch Wars exhibit, which will feature everything Star Wars/stitched.
