Logitech starts shipping HD Pro Webcam C910

Logitech has a ton of products that it offers for all sorts of needs ranging from general computer work to gaming. Logitech has announced that it is now shipping a new webcam called the HD Pro Webcam C910.

The webcam has full 1080p video recording and can make video calls at up to 720p resolution using IM services and Logitech Vid HD software. The camera also has stereo audio for call and recording quality.

Logitech Gaming Keyboard G510 debuts

Logitech has made some of my favorite keyboards over the year. I use the Illuminated Keyboard all the time and my favorite gaming keyboard is the G15 with its cool LCD. Today Logitech has rolled out a new gaming keyboard called the G510.

The G510 looks a lot like that G15 I mentioned with the LCD that offers info about your game and your PC. The keyboard also has backlighting with user customizable color to match your other gaming gear.

Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700 cuts the ties that bind

That cool set of wireless headphones isn’t the only piece of wireless gaming hardware that Logitech is whipping out today. Logitech has also unveiled a new wireless gaming mouse called the G700.

The G700 uses the cool new nano receiver from Logitech that takes up very little space and can even be left plugged in on gaming notebooks. The mouse has a battery good for hours of gaming per charge.

Logitech tosses wireless G930 gaming headset onto market

I like being able to cut the wires on all the gear that goes along with my PC, as long as the wireless gear works as well as the wired stuff it replaces. Logitech has a new set of headphones called the G930 that have debuted today that look interesting.

The G930 has 2.4GHz RF connectivity good for up to 40 feet of distance from the computer. The battery inside the wireless headphones is good for ten hours per charge and can be charged with a cable while they are in use.

Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i iPod dock debuts

Logitech has added a new mobile speaker dock to its line up for the iPod called the Rechargeable Speaker S715i. The device is designed to work with any dockable iPod and will sell for $149.99 when it ships.

Logitech is mum on the ship date right now, but it should be soon. The battery inside the S715i is good for eight hours per charge. It has a pair of 3-inch drivers along with a pair of 0.5-inch tweeters and four 2-inch radiators for bass.

Dell Streak and Logitech diNovo Mini keyboard hook up

Turns out that the Dell Streak works pretty well with a 5″ Bluetooth keyboard like the Logitech diNovo Mini. They can spend the night attached and then go their separate ways in the morning if they desire.

The Streak does come with Bluetooth, making it easy to synchronize with the keyboard and eliminating your typing troubles. The Logitech diNovo Mini will cost about $100, but finding a used one for a bit cheaper can also happen.

Logitech Z506 surround sound speakers up for pre-order at $99

Logitech has unveiled its latest set of speakers for computers and other uses. The new speakers are called the Z506 and they can be pre-ordered now for $99. That is a very low price for a set of powered 5.1 speakers.

The speaker system is designed to be used with the PC, PS3, Xbox, DVD player, and Wii. The cables needed for connecting to the PC are included and connection to game consoles uses the cables included with the console.

Logitech Revue Google TV box hits the FCC

You may have to wait until this Fall, but Logitech’s Google TV box has been showing itself off to the FCC. Not much new to report on this one, but if you hit the link you can get a look at the device’s guts.

As reported previously, Google TV will bring regular TV and web video to your TV, as well as Android apps. Now that the FCC has spied this device, all we have to do is wait.

Sony set to launch Google TV in May

Sony is planning to introduce its new TVs, which are powered by Intel chips and Google software next month. Sony and Google will be talking about the new products at a conference in San Francisco on May 19th and 20th.

Logitech has even been given the assignment of designing the remote control for the new set-top box, which will include a keyboard for navigation. The set-top-box will be powered by the Android operating system, and of course require an Internet connection. In this market, Google will be competing with the likes of looks likes of Cisco, Motorola, Microsoft, Apple, and TiVo.

Logitech Squeezebox Touch has shipped

Some good news for all of you who have been waiting. The long awaited Logitech Squeezebox Touch has finally shipped. You’ll be able to pick one up today at Logitech’s online store for $299.99.

You might remember, the network music player packs a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, an SD card slot (up to 32GB), a USB port, WiFi, an Ethernet port and supports a wide range of music formats including MP3, FLAC, WMA, WMA Lossless, AAC, Apple Lossless, WAV and AIFF.

Logitech LBT-HS120C2C offers 10 hours of talktime

People like to talk. About the weather, the kids, Lady Gaga’s latest dress… So you need a lot of talk time. Logitech has released a new Bluetooth headset that offers just that, the LBT-HS120C2C. It’s currently available in Japan, but there’s no word on pricing yet.

The most notable feature of this headset is the 10 hour talktime, which should be plenty to talk business or just gossip. Some other features include support for Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, 200 hours of standby time, black and white color options, USB charging or the ability to be charged up by your car’s cigarette lighter using an adapter.

Logitech adds low cost Harmony 600 and 650 universal remotes to line

Logitech has been peddling its line of Harmony universal remote controls for a while now. The line has some of the best universal remotes around. I am particularly fond of the Harmony One and use it in my living room.

Logitech has added a pair of low cost universal remotes to the Harmony line including the 600 and 650. The remotes are very similar with the same basic shape and differ in the screens used. The 600 has a monochrome screen and the 650 has a color screen.

Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205 looks to fix your netbook sound woes

I can’t really think of a notebook or netbook off hand that I have ever used that actually had a sound system that sounded good. The speakers are usually tiny things with no bass and flat sound. If you are tired of listening to movies and music with junky speakers, Logitech has a product for you.

The new Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205 has debuted today and it is designed to clip onto your notebook or netbook screen and gets connectivity and power from a USB cable that is included. The little speaker comes with its own carry case and measures 1.35″ x 2.5″.

Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 with three year battery life

You can expect the keyboard and mouse of Logitech’s Wireless Desktop MK710 to get three years of battery life according to the company. We can only assume they used some sort of black magic, by sacrificing a microsoft keyboard to their gods.

It’s designed to “cradle” your fingertips, which should be comfortable. The sculpted mouse has “hyper-fast” scrolling, and it’s all wireless. Europe will be getting the MK710 later this month, the US in April. It will cost you $100.
