In general, most netbooks are thin and light to begin with, but the Averatec N1200 is the thinnest and the lightest 10-inch netbook on the market now. Less than an inch thick and weighing just 2.2lbs, the stock N1200 features an Atom N450 processor, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM expandable to 2GB, a webcam, and 802.11n Wi-Fi.

It runs on XP or Win 7 Starter and gives you just three hours per charge. Aside from being light and thin, it’s a nice looking Netbook. The N1200 is available in silver and black.

JVC’s 32-7mm thin LCD is the lightest in the world

JVC’s 32-7mm thin LCD is the lightest in the worldFor a while there, manufacturers were concentrating on large sizes, now it’s depth that is all important. TVs are big and you can get one up to 150 inches if you’re rich and bored, but how thin are they? Chances are they are not thin enough to match your wall art. That’s all about to change as companies race to put out the first super-thin LCD TVs.

JVC is about to show off a new prototype of a 32-inch LCD HDTV at CES this week. It’s unique because it’s a mere 7mm thick and weighs in at just 11 pounds, which thinner and lighter than your TV. Most laptops no longer weigh that. Since it’s a prototype, it won’t be showing up on store shelves anytime soon, but with everyone racing to get them to consumers, it won’t be a long wait.

World’s smallest & lightest battery charger

World’s smallest & lightest battery charger
I’ve got a bunch of devices that use AA batteries. Said batteries all rotate in and out of the same charger, so something like this would be very convenient for me. Especially if I needed some batteries charged on the go.

It claims to be the smallest and lightest battery charger in the world. I don’t know about that, but I know it will come in handy. It will charge two AA or AAA batteries to 75% of a full charge in three to four hours via the USB port, so it’s not the fastest. For $25, it’s worth it if you have many batteries to be charged.
