LG E90 Slim LED Monitor

LG has introduced its slimmest LED monitor yet, the E90. It measures just 7.2mm thick and the 21.5-inch widescreen (1920×1080) display comes with a super fast response time of 2ms, which is perfect for movies and games alike.

This LED monitor features D-Sub/DVI-D/HDMI ports, which are all located in the stand. Yes, that’s how they keep the display so slim. The LG E90 also uses 40% less power consumption compared to CCFL LCD monitors, so you will be saving some money and the environment.

Bang & Olufsen 32-inch BeoVision 10 LED HDTV

Bang & Olufsen has released their new 32-inch BeoVision 10 edge-lit LED HDTV. This TV produces a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio, along with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It also sports 16.7 million colors and a low reflection screen. This HDTV measures 32-inches x 29.2-inches x 2.52-inches and weighs 59.4 pounds. The 32-inch BeoVision 10 comes with the BeoVision 4 remote with an optional BeoVision 5 available.

Sceptre Galaxy Series 42-inch 120Hz LED HDTV

Sceptre has just announced a new 42-inch 120Hz LED HDTV to its Galaxy Series. This wall mountable 42-inch LED HDTV features a 120Hz refresh rate that produces sharper and cleaner images. There’s also an equalizer setting, so you can fine tune the volume of the audio any way you like.

You’ll also get 5 HDMI ports, a USB port and a tempered glass swiveling stand. The Sceptre Galaxy Series 42-inch 120Hz LED HDTV is available at stores like Target, Sears, Amazon, and Kmart to name a few.

Tron inspired LED Watch from Tokyoflash

The guys over at Tokyoflash never stop designing cool new watches. The latest one is part of their concept series, and it was designed by Scott from the UK. And we hope they put this one into production very soon, since it looks awesome.

The two rings (based on a Tron Disc) represent the minutes and the hours. The break in the ring represents the time in a normal clock face layout. We hope that they make this tron inspired LED watch asap.

Viewsonic outs 24-inch V3D241wm-LED monitor with 3D glasses

Viewsonic has introduced a new 24-inch V3D241wm-LED 3D monitor, and unlike some other companies, it comes with a pair of active 3D glasses. Viewsonic claims that their 120Hz frame rate, and 2ms response time is the best for your gaming and movies so far.

Some other features include two watt speakers, 300 nits of brightness, an amazingly OMG 20,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and an Eco mode to cut down on power consumption.

Kiss releases LED HDTV

Gene Simmons continues to capitalize on his KISS stardom. At least we hope he’s making some money on these officially-licensed LED HDTVs, which are available in 55-, 46-, 42-, and 32-inch variants, priced between $818.88 and $1,988.88.

They are on sale now online and will be in stores by mid-November. Each set has the Kiss logo on the bottom corner and boots up with eight seconds of the band’s imagery. The TVs are produced by Roundtable Concepts.

Tokyoflash Cobra LED watch concept

The aptly named Cobra LED watch from Tokyoflash shows the time, well, like a cobra. This concept watch tells you the time using two decks, one that shows the hours, while the other shows the minutes.

Numbers are engraved on each deck like a scale. You can view the time vertically or diagonally. It looks like it could leap off your wrist and strike.

Acer S222HQL Super-Slim LED-backlit Monitor

Acer is ready to launch a new monitor at IFA Berlin 2010. The company has announced plans to present its S222HQL Super-Slim LCD monitor. The S222HQL sports a sexy and slim design and features a LED-back lite for power-saving, which is good for the Earth and your wallet.

The upcoming Acer S222HQL Super-Slim LED-backlit Monitor is also equipped with a 21.5-inch display that delivers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a response time of 2ms, and 250 cd/m2 of brightness.

Samsung releases four new 3D LED HDTVs

Samsung is all set to release four new 3D HDTVs. The 65-inch UN65C8000 is an LED-backlit unit that supports Samsung’s Real 240Hz panel and Wi-Fi connectivity with an 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The 50-inch PN50C680 and 58-inch PN58C680 feature a 1080p display resolution on 600Hz panels. Both 3D HDTVs have the AllShare feature, allowing them to access media on other PCs or other DLNA-compatible devices.

Lastly, the 50-inch PN50C490 supports a lower 720p resolution display. The 65-inch Samsung UN65C8000, 50-inch PN50C680, 58-inch PN58C680 and 50-inch PN50C490 are all priced at $6,000, $2,300, $1,600 and $1,100.

NEC Eco-Friendly E231W LED Monitor

NEC has something new in the 23-inch monitor category. The latest model includes a DisplayPort with a full 1080p resolution and ambient light sensor. The E231W consumes less power (28W) and less money to buy at $299 than it’s predecessor.

It features 250 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 4-way adjustability (height, tilt, swivel, and pivot), and a 3-year warranty. Availability of this latest MultiSync monitor is scheduled for later this month. Will you be buying?

Apple releases new 27-inch LED Cinema Display

Apple has just announced its latest 27″ LED Cinema Display. It features a stunning 2560 x 1440 resolution and 60% more screen real estate compared to its predecessor. It has a built-in iSight video camera, microphone and speakers, a powered USB 2.0 hub and universal MagSafe connector.

This good looking $999 monitor also sports a beautiful 16:9 edge-to-edge glass display on an aluminum stand with an adjustable hinge, so that tilting the display requires almost no effort at all. Let’s not forget the 178 degree viewing angle.

BenQ EW and VW series Vertical Alignment LED monitors

BenQ has unveiled its EW and VW series Vertical Alignment LED monitors which are apparently the first of their kind in the world. The VA LED-based panels are said to offer superior color reproduction, an ultra high contrast ratio, the ability to display blacks more accurately and minimize light leakage.

The BenQ EW series will be aimed at digital video enthusiasts more than regular Joes since it features a wider range of ports for video viewing. The VW series monitors feature DVI, D-Sub, HDMI 1.3 and headphone connectivity options. The VW2420 and EW2420 models will hit Taiwan first followed by a worldwide release in August.

For those of you striving to look like something out of a dental horror movie, there’s the Beaming White’s Forever White Teeth Whitening Headset. You get a music headset that can be connected to your iPod or computer, allowing you to be distracted by music as you creep out everyone around you.

Westinghouse unveils affordable LED TVs

In the market for a new LED TV? Westinghouse just introduced several affordable LED HDTVs, priced for those on a budget. They measure just 1-inch at the edges. There is a downside though.

It doesn’t support HDMI 1.4a, which means no 3D support for you. Models up to the 42-inch model are Energy Star 5.0 compliant, while certain models also support being hung up using a wall hanger, instead of a specialized mount.

LED light bulbs are under $20 at Home Depot

There are many ways for geeks to go green. You can get a surge protector that lets you turn your gear off when not in use to prevent vampire power for instance. You can also move to LED backlit monitors and notebooks.

One thing that you can do in your entire home is go to LED light bulbs. LED bulbs consumer a lot less power, but they are typically really expensive. I have seen some that are $50 or more each. Home Depot has a new line of LED bulbs that fit normal fixtures called EcoSmart.
