The folks who make the Fretlight guitar learning system wanted us to check it out and see for ourselves how easy it is to learn guitar with their system. The basic idea is that the frets of the guitar light up. That, along with an interactive learning system which includes videos and tutorials are supposed to make it easy.
Since my son has been learning how to play guitar by more or less teaching himself, I figured he was the perfect candidate. So they sent us the whole kit and my son checked it out. How good is it at teaching you to play the guitar? His review follows:





Learning another language can be tricky. Luckily for those in South Korea, SAFA has announced the availability of the Magic Study Touch education multimedia device, which should help. The device will help you learn English better and easier than on your own.
You want to be a Guitar Hero, but you don’t know any songs. Just attach this Maestro device onto your guitar, load a music file of the song you want to learn and it will point out the frets you need to hit, using lasers. As any rock god will tell you, guitars and lasers are an awesome combination.
There’s always typing software to help improve your skills, but for some people, easy learning comes from a good keyboard. Like the Look & Learn Keyboard from KeyRight. It’s for beginners who want to get faster.
