Apple Tablet image leaked? |
Here’s the latest “leaked” image of Apple’s upcoming tablet. Images hit the net this morning. It’s likely fake, though it comes from a French blog with a decent track record. The image certainly jibes with the iPhone/iPod touch and iMac, and with the rumors we’ve heard. But the thing that jumps out at us is the placement of the home key, which is odd.
You’ll also notice OS X on the display. Analysts have been guessing that the device would run some version of the iPhone OS. What do you think? Fake? Or the real deal?

The Walkman NWZ-S544 and the Walkman NWZ-S545 have been leaked by materiel.net, a French online retail site. Both models have very similar features, with the main difference being storage details: 8GB and 16GB. They are priced at 129 and 149 Euros.
Sony Ericsson’s first Android smartphone will be a high-end touchscreen device that will take on the iPhone, according to a Danish scoop. Codenamed “Rachel,” the phone would fit into the XPERIA line occupied only by the X1 but would emphasize speed. Like the Windows Mobile-based Toshiba TG01, it would have a high-end 1GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It may also compete against the iPhone 3GS with “great” 3D graphics capabilities.
Ready for another Sidekick rumor? This one’s from the desk of a T-Mobile employee. It’s an internal memo that leaks new information on the newest Sidekick. It’s dubbed the Sidekick LX and will feature a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, a QWERTY and a “stunning” swivel screen that claims to be sharper than its predecessors.
The folks over at Samsung have been busy. The new Samsung SCH-U490, aka the Samsung Trance will soon be unveiled. The phone features touch and context sensitive keys for navigation and media playback, microSDHC expansion slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, speakerphone, and 1GB of internal memory.
Motorola has done it. With the upcoming Motorola i465 iDEN they have created a full-QWERTY phone that is uglier than the ugliest thing beat by an ugly stick. Well, maybe it’s not that bad. Specific details are sparse but it will likely have a VGA camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and iDEN PTT.
The image above is another press photo of the Motorola ZN300 that has leaked and is making the rounds. It’s a nice looking phone for sure. The navigation pad seems a little odd, but check it out, they’ve included a 3.5mm headset jack that will make a lot of users happy.
This is interesting. According to MacRumors, this could possibly be the next-gen Mac mini we’ve been waiting for. It seems to correspond to other rumored “leaks” that have been popping up and it sports five USB ports, FireWire 800, Mini DisplayPort, and Mini DVI. Hmmm. Photoshop? Wishful thinking?
It does exist. And the Motorola Atila is ready for it’s blurry closeup, proving that Motorola still has this phone under development. Some specs include: Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Tri-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850MHz/1900MHz/2100MHz), 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 1.8Mbps HSUPA, 2.8? QVGA 240 x 320 screen, Wi-Fi b/g connectivity, Qualcomm 7201A chipset, and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Decent specs, and yeah the screen could do with an upgrade. Maybe a full VGA screen like the Touch Diamond.
Looks like real honest to God iPod Nano 4G hardware, but you’ll notice it has no Apple logo and it probably is equipped with non-Apple software inside. Call Anakin Skywalker and the rest of the Jedi council. Begun, the clone wars have. Those who don’t visit gadget sites are doomed to buy this thing. You’ll also notice that this clone is thin as an anorexic supermodel, which has us hoping that the Nano 4G will keep its slim form.
