ViewSonic outs six new LCD monitorsViewSonic has released another six LCD models. The VT3245 ($649) and VT3745 ($799) feature Full HD (1920×1080) resolution, 5ms response time, 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 3D video processing and an SRS TruSurround XT audio surround sound experience.

The higher end N4285 ($999) also has Full HD support as well as a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The VT2042, VT2342 and VT2645 were specially developed to bridge the gap between an LCD monitor and a regular TV. The VT2042 ($299)and VT2342 ($349) sports a resolution of 1,600 x 900 and 1,920 x 1,080, respectively. The latter has three HDMI connections.

Acer’s HX2000 and FHX3200 LCD monitors

Acer's HX2000 and FHX3200 LCD monitorsAcer announced two new monitors for Japan. The HX2000 is a 20-inch panel with a 1,600 x 900 resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness and a five millisecond response time. While the 23-inch FHX2300 sports a 40,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness, a five millisecond response time, an HDMI socket and Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution.

No word on pricing yet or availability for the HX2000, but the FHX2300 will be launching soon in Japan for about $214.
