vtechds6321-3-sbI haven’t used a home phone line in years other than for DSL. I make and receive all the calls I get on my mobile phone. If you still use your landline for placing and receiving calls and you want to get the contacts list from your mobile onto the home phone VTech has the product for you.

VTech has announced the first home phone called the DS6321-3 that sells for $99.95. The handset can connect to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and download the contacts and phone numbers from your mobile to the landline.

Ringboxx: Personalized ringtones for your landline

Ringboxx: Personalized ringtones for your landlineIf you have a family member who still uses and relies on a landline, you might want to get them a Ringboxx from Home Phone Tunes so they can get in on the ringtones action. Ringboxx lets you program ringtones for individual callers on their landline, just like you can do on your fancy mobile phone. The user can purchase tunes from the Home Phone Tunes Ringtone Store and then they’ll know instantly who’s calling without having to use caller ID. Somehow I don’t think they are going to sell many units, but I look forward to more grannies out there using rap ringtones. Check out a video below.
