Fagor TP-2006 X Flat Toaster

Fagor TP-2006 X Flat Toaster
This toaster tosses convention completely out the window. The Fagor TP-2006 X is a flat toaster and it looks way cooler than traditional ones. It also makes for a dangerous breakfast time. It’s probably not good for those with a house full of kids who like sticking their hands in objects.

Like other toasters, the Fagor TP-2006 X comes with a crumb tray that can be slid out. It’s clearly begging to have a burger on it’s grill as well, though I’m sure they do not recommend it. Looks like it can fit four slices of bread on it’s surface at once. It’s got me rethinking everything. If we can have a flat toaster, surely we can have a George Foreman grill that stands upright.

NANA Saver is the hero of Bananas everywhere
Banana’s are good for you. Eating a whole banana is no big deal, just throw the peel away and forget it. But what happens when you only want half of a banana? It gets all brown, spotty and nasty real quick, that’s what. Who wants to eat that? It usually ends up in the trash.

Not anymore. The NANA Saver is essentially a cap for your decapitated banana. Just pinch it on and it will now be fresh from the air. It will only set you back $2.98. Sure, you could just eat the whole thing, but that would put the NANA saver out of business.

The kitchen cleaning Readybot robot

The kitchen cleaning Readybot Robot
Invented by a group of Silicon Valley engineers, the Readybot Robot is designed to clean up your kitchen. The goal of the project is to find out how much of an average kitchen the robot can clean. Right now, Readybot can take care of 30-40% of daily chores and the team believes that with more programming, they can get that up to 50% in another year. Eventually it will be at 80%. The prototype is more or less, a white enamel box with wheels, with two human-sized arms and chrome accents.

The robot fits in the same counter space as a dishwasher. After activation, he rolls out, deploys several antenna-type cameras, and raises itself up to human height, then gets to work. No info on availability yet, but very soon we are all going to have these in our home. I guess it’s a bit nice to know that now they can kill you dead, drag you into their dishwasher sized hole and clean up your disemboweled parts.

Dual Pizza oven: pizza in 90 seconds or less

Posted in Home by Conner Flynn on February 14th, 2008

Dual Pizza oven
As if by magic, this Dual Pizza Oven can take your dinner from a pile of dough with cheese and toppings to a steaming pizza in 90 seconds. That’s cooking two 12-inch pizzas simultaneously, not just one. Obviously frozen pizzas would take a bit longer, but still this is awesome news. The microwave is fast, but microwave pizza is terrible.

This oven combines 1440-watt coil heating elements with ceramic pizza stones. This distributes the heat evenly. The only thing we are unsure of is how it would fare with frozen pizza. That’s the only way this is a time saver, because if you’re making your own fresh pizza from scratch, you are investing way too much in the process and might as well open a Pizza shop. If you are the kind to pay $249.95 for a dual pizza oven, that may not be a bad idea.

This is the Pop Art Toaster, intended to burn a little fun into your morning routine. I can understand how you can get tired of plain old toast in the morning. With this you can surprise your significant other in the morning with a special unexpected message, burned right into their breakfast bread.
