This battery kit was originally announced back in November of 2007. The PSP Extended Life Battery Kit promised to give you about 20 percent more battery life for $45. Then, it seemed that Sony pulled the thing in 2008.

Anyhow, now it’s back. You can find the PlayStation Portable Extended Life Battery Kit back on Sony’s website for $44.99. Looks like they are Backordered at the moment, but you can always get in line. You can always use more battery life.

If you’re a Nokia cell phone user, you’ll want to check out the KIT Eco Charger from Carphone Warehouse, now for sale in the UK for £23. The KIT Eco Charger is a bit different from other chargers in that it can turn itself off automatically once your phone is fully charged. That way, you can leave your handset connected to it as long as you like and not have to worry about wasting electricity. Always a good thing.

According to a company spokesperson, “If everyone in the UK used a KIT Eco Charger we would save approximately 300,000,000 kwh of electricity per year. At an average cost of 28.5p per kwh, that would be a collective saving as a country of £85m!” Sounds pretty good. Sadly not everyone in the UK uses a Nokia.

The Yorozu Audio universal speaker kit asks, “Got milk?” And if you do, you too can have this speaker. In fact, you can turn just about anything lying around into a speaker. This device relies on a vibrating sonic transducer that takes audio from your portable media player or sound system, then sends it to an attached inanimate object.

It’s all about resonance, but don’t expect great audio. It will cost you $56.30 to impress all your milk drinking friends, but if you ask me it just looks like a fancy heart monitor for dairy products.

Usually our focus is on shiny new gadgetry, but let’s not forget gadgets of old. In this case a Vampire killing kit that has likely put to rest one hell of a lot of undead mo-fos in it’s time. This 200-year-old vampire killing kit was recently sold at an auction in Missisippi, where the bid ended at a staggering $14,850! That’s a pretty expensive way to kill a Vampire.

In the kit you get such useful tools as: A cross, Bible, Hand gun and silver bullets(In case you get confused and set out after a Werewolf), Holy oils, Holy water, Mirrors, Candles, Garlic, Wood and metal stakes. Here’s a pretty simple Wiimote hack that will take you back in time and get you all nostalgic for those days when the NES Advantage gave you “turbo” fire while playing the classics. Is it cheating? We don’t care. It was awesome and many games fell to the magic of turbo-firing. I thought that buying prepackaged goods was supposed to make life easier, but I guess I was wrong. However those who are completely obsessed with DIY will probably appreciate this and find it fun. The Falter 2D pen makes you work to have your pen and write with it.

The DIY assembly kit even comes with a flat piece of iron that you’ll fold into your pen holder. At $39, you could probably save yourself some trouble and just lift a pen from the next cubicle. Leave 5 bucks if you feel bad you’ll still be better off. Apparently the Falter is handmade in Italy. Just not completed. That’s up to you. Me, I have enough to do already.
