I always wondered why more modders don’t go for the Art Deco look. I mean Steampunk is awesome when done right, but Art Deco is just as cool. It figures that it would be Datamancer who bridges the gap. They created this awesome Steampunk keyboard, and now are into art deco. It’s about time too.

The Logitech G19 is the latest gaming keyboard from Logitech and the follow up to the successful G15. Whereas the G15 had a orange backlit LCD with nothing but monochrome content, the G19 gets a full-blown color LCD for watching video and showing game stats. If you are an avid gamer looking for a new and cool gaming keyboard, the Logitech G19 may be just what you want.

Do you suffer from cold wrists? Apparently it’s a real problem. So says IGM’s Heated Keyboard Wrist Pad. The idea is to sooth your bones while you type away. It’s powered by a USB port. You won’t have to suffer from cold wrists anymore.

And even if your wrists are fine, it probably feels nice in a cold office. It might just help relieve some pain from arthritis or Carpal Tunnel syndrome. Carbon fiber heating elements produce heat in the Far Infrared range which supposedly has some health benefits.

Great news. Asus’s awesome Eee Keyboard will be available in May or June for only $400-$600. It’s essentially a home theater PC inside of a keyboard, complete with wireless HDMI and a secondary touchscreen. According to Asus CEO Jerry Shen, they’re working on two different models, one wired and one wireless. The wired version will cost around $400 while the wireless will be around $600.

The keyboard features a 5-inch built-in display, 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB SSD, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It’s got all of the ports you want like wireless HDMI, 2 USB 2.0, VGA, HDMI, and audio in/out. We’ve been waiting for this one. It’s almost here.

Illuminati. You’ve heard the conspiracy, now try the keyboard. They really missed out on a catchy tag-line with that one. OCZ Technology might be better known for making memory, but they’ve just announced a new addition to the company’s Alchemy line of peripherals with the Illuminati multimedia backlit keyboard series.

It’s the keyboard that’s hell-bent on world domination, population control, ushering in the new world order and they’re probably working with Aliens and abducting people too. Cause you know, the illuminati are like that. Actually in this case the name just implies that the keys themselves light up when they’re connected to your computer.

We don’t have much info, but without giving a reason, Logitech as delayed the production of its G19 keyboard until May. Those who have been waiting will already be familiar with the specs.

The G19 is a gaming keyboard that features a QVGA resolution color GamePanel LCD screen. The 320-by-240-pixel display will give you valuable in-game information for over sixty games, including World of Warcraft.

Samsung has unveiled it’s latest phone, available very soon unlocked from Expansys. You can pre-order the handset for £249.99. The Samsung C6625 features a 2.6 inch non-touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, Tri-band GSM connectivity (900/1800/1900 MHz connectivity), HSDPA 2100 MHz connectivity, a-GPS, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a 2MP shooter with video recording, 100MB internal memory and a microSDHC memory card slot.

The battery will give you enough juice for up to 420 minutes of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby. It’s kind of like the Samsung BlackJack, but with a more rounded look. It’s aimed at business users.

This interesting concept comes from designer Billy May. The OLED Blackberry is a combination of a Blackberry 7130 and an Optimus Keyboard. This OLED Blackberry was designed for the Mozilla Phone project, and obviously it takes the best of both devices and creates this stunning concept seen above.

The OLED keys, just like on the Optimus Keyboard can be programmed and change their look. It looks stunning and the minute you see it, you realize that you are looking at a device that has some actual richness of personality and could provide a richer experience.

It may come as a shock to some Apple fanboys, but not everyone likes the look of the Apple keyboard. Some people may prefer something a bit more minimalist. Like plain white. That’s what Essell likes and so he decided to spray it white. Which, surprisingly looks pretty awesome.

If Apple keyboards went to heaven, this is what they would look like for sure. They would probably be floating like clouds and land under your fingertips when needed. I think I might have problems typing on this though. This guy is obviously a far better typer than I am.

Most of us are happy with a nice QWERTY keyboard. Why not have a keyboard that has the ABC’s one letter after each other the way nature intended? The Fast Finger Keyboard is exactly that keyboard. There are three ways to use it. If you are just learning typing, the keys are layed out on the keyboard in alphabetical order. Just press the ‘ABC’ button and the keys will type in that order.

But if you are ready to take it to the next level, you can use it as a normal QWERTY keyboard. The letters are layed out on the keyboard under the ABC keys in red. The other thing this keyboard does is when the ‘F’ key is pushed, IM abbreviations are available with the function keys. “CYA”, “LOL”, and “BTW” etc.

This Apple Keyboard concept makes a lot of sense. It features all the necessary keys required in a Mac OS X environment and has an induction charge and synchronize segment on the right side that will hold your iPhone or iPod. The keyboard also has six programmable OLED keys.

It may not exist in the real world, but that didn’t stop the designer from giving it a price of $79.99. Too bad, it is only a concept, price or no. Apple fans would love this design and seeing a spot for the iPhone next to a keyboard makes me wonder why Apple hasn’t done it yet. Seems like a natural fit.

Someone loves Scrabble a whole bunch and by creating this awesomely nerdy keyboard, they must have scored themselves a quadruple word score. It’s a wood and brushed aluminum keyboard that features real Scrabble tiles. The points score is slightly edited to show each key’s secondary function.

Everyone knows Scrabble and this is an awesome mod that looks like it could have come straight out of the game box. It’s a USB keyboard and the aluminum accents will very nicely match the Mac that it will be paired with.

You own the dictionary. You speak the language. Sadly, you’ve even tried to pick up women using the Klingon tongue. Unsuccessfully of course. But until now, you have not been able to type with a Klingon keyboard. Well, Cherry Keyboards’ Klingon Language keyboard has your back. All it needs is a PS/2 port and a willing nerd. You’re good to go.

They were able to keep it looking like regular keyboards thanks to the fact that the Klingon alphabet has 26 characters, the same as the English language. Now you can pretend to be a Klingon ALL the time, not just at the conventions. Just don’t sit in front of it all day long typing Klingon love letters and death threats, or else your fake armor isn’t going to fit over your gut anymore.

Where ports are concerned, it’s got wireless HDMI, 2 USB 2.0, VGA, HDMI, and audio in/out. It’s OS of choice is Windows XP home, which is a bit odd for something that wants to be a home theater PC, though it’s not packing a TV tuner either. No info on price or release date, but according to the Asus CEO, it’ll be available in the next 3 to 6 months.

Meet the new best keyboard ever. The official Eee Keyboard. It features wireless HDMI, and it’s a “fully functional PC” with full QWERTY and an awesome mini secondary touchscreen.

Asus is mum about if and when we’ll actually see the Eee Keyboard come to market (It looks like a very real product), but if it’s a concept for a home theater PC, it is an amazing one. With wireless HDMI you could probably make any television into your monitor without having a huge PC taking up space.
