When it comes to WoW, it seems like gamers can never have enough extra buttons and keys despite the fact that they only possess two hands. Hot on the heels of the SteelSeries gaming mouse, comes this Limited Edition World of Warcraft Keyboard for $69.99. Or as Amazon calls it, the “SteelSeries Zboard Limited-Edition Wrath of the Lich King Bundle with Zboard Keyboard, Keyset, and Standard Qwerty Keyset”. Phew. That’s a mouthful. Let’s face it, you are playing to kick ass. This keyboard should help you kick ass and take names.

It comes packed with features that give it optimal performance in the WoW game with specific keys assigned for Raiding and Player vs. Player (PvP) gameplay, strategic placement of color-coded labeled keys, one-touch macros for frequent commands like roll, duel and invite. It also allows for 7 simultaneous keystrokes, as opposed to the industry standard of 2-4. Order one today and it will come with such bonus features as “avoiding real people…failing to shower funk sensor…Cheeto resistant keys….and more. Ok, I made that last bit up.

I remember when the original Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard came out. The keyboard was thin, very attractive and offered excellent typing feel. The problem was that it lacked any Mac specific keys making hard-core Mac fans stay away from the diNovo line.

Logitech announced today that its diNovo Mac edition keyboard is now available to purchase for $99.99. The keyboard has the same thin .87-inch profile the Edge had that made it so comfortable to type on. Logitech also uses its PerfectStroke key system on the Mac edition with longer travel and great typing feel.

Typing on the iPhone’s touchscreen is pretty awkward. It’s really no fun. Your life is about to get easier thanks to the BTKeyMini, a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This small keyboard has a cover that also holds your iPhone. It should fit in even a very small briefcase. It uses a battery of it’s own so it won’t suck off of your iPhone. There’s still the iPhone’s lack of copy and paste, but hey this will still make it easier for you. It almost makes your iPhone into a laptop. No word on when it’s shipping, but it will cost you $92.

There’s always typing software to help improve your skills, but for some people, easy learning comes from a good keyboard. Like the Look & Learn Keyboard from KeyRight. It’s for beginners who want to get faster.

The keys have been color-coded so that you can differentiate between eight finger zones. You still need some software to help, so the Look & Learn keyboard ships with its own interactive learning software. It’s compatible with both Mac and Windows and will retail for $40. I’m sure it’s not easy being a blonde, what with all the jokes and everything. Now I’m not saying those jokes are well deserved, I’m just saying they made a special keyboard for ya. First off, it’s pink, so you’re probably intrigued already right? The designers have also made things easier for you with some special keys.

You’ll get a lot of use out of the MySpace spacebar, while Enter= Yes, I want it. Delete= “Oops” and T= TC4S, too cool for school. S= “SOS”, shoes on sale. Seems like they covered everything. So, some guy took a jail-broken iPhone and wired it up to an actual keyboard that’s about the same size as the phone. Pretty neat, but of course it completely ruins the beauty of the iPhone. Still, if you can’t handle the virtual keyboard and don’t mind your device being ugly, this may be a good solution for you. But I think that most people by now have gotten used to the virtual keyboard, so it’s kinda useless. But we always like a good hack.

Working in the dark is no fun. You can’t see your notebook’s keyboard for one thing. Plus, darkness is scary. That’s when the monsters come out. That’s why Saitek is offering the Eclipse III. They like low-light computing/gaming so their fancy keyboard can show off. The backlight has different colors that it can be set to. The USB-connected keyboard also features a 2-stage height adjustment system for your typing comfort, laser-etched keys, shortcut keys, as well as head phone and microphone audio ports. No word on pricing or availability yet.

Datamancer has done it again and this one looks like it would be pretty comfortable to use. It’s got the usual brass, wood and classic typewriter keys, along with some other really super details. Like some violet LEDs, an acanthus-leaf pattern etched into the brass, and a soft burgundy wrist pad that is removable for cleaning. It began life as a very rare but plain IBM Model M-15 split ergonomic keyboard, but as you can see, it looks much better now.

While people love the G1 and it has an excellent keyboard…and it’s only been available for about a day, many users are already complaining that they cannot type in landscape mode.

Never fear, according to the Android development roadmap, we’ll be getting a touchscreen keyboard in Q1 2009 that features “a dictionary of suggestions and a suggestion algorithm.” So it will basically work like the iPhone keyboard. Great news as many find it annoying, having to slide open the G1 every time they want to enter some data.

I guess to Korg size doesn’t matter, since they’re flaunting their tiny USB keyboards. It’s Korg’s new line of nanoSeries USB keyboards, that measure just 320mm across, and are super slim too. The line consists of a tiny keyboard, synth pad and fader deck. All of the drum pads apparently perform just fine despite their size, though the faders seam cheap. Still, it’s perfect for the musician with tiny hands. The nanoKey will cost you about $90, while the nanoKontrol and nanoPad are both $109.

It’s a conundrum that has plagued musicians for years. You love your keyboard, but it’s just too big to take with you. That’s why some forward thinking geek took it upon himself to create these gloves instead of make love to a girl. The Fingertip Keyboard Gloves are probably a good way to keep your kids busy and out of your hair while they try to make music. They play musical notes when the fingertips are tapped against almost any flat surface.

Apparently, individual gloves can play an entire octave in the key of C, and pressing the heel of the hand will change the middle three fingers to final notes A, B and C. Both gloves are hooked up to an speaker via a wire, which should give you enough volume for a small concert in your personal space. The device charges via USB and costs $69.95. Now that these gloves have arrived, it’s time to hook them up to a video game like Guitar Hero so we can watch Beethoven rock out to your jams.

There’s nothing like shooting some Space Invaders who are trying to take over the world. It used to be that we popped a few quarters in the machine and shot them all to hell. These days it’s all about buying merchandise that bears the likeness of the 8-bit invaders. Some of which is actually practical.

If you have ever tried to work in a dark room you know that it can be hard to find all the keys on the keyboard. This is especially hard for the non-touch typist. Many gaming keyboards now feature backlighting, but backlighting is not something seen on most general use keyboards.

Logitech has announced a new general use keyboard that features full backlighting called the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. The keyboard uses the Logitech PerfectStroke key system for good feedback and typing.

Good news PS3 fans, the wireless keypad we told you about the other day is available for pre-order now at Amazon for $49.99. Where it states “This item will be released on November 30, 2008.”

The wireless keyboard even comes with a touchpad mode that allows for mouse input, which may be used in future game development. The QWERTY keypad snaps over the center of DualShock 3 and SIXAXIS controllers and aparently has it’s own Bluetooth connection and power source.

The Crayola EZ Type keyboard sure isn’t easy on the eyes. It’s great to use when you want your kids germy and sticky hands well away from your own keyboard. Alternately, it would be great for old people for the same reason, plus the colored keys are big and easy to read. Or maybe you just like your accessories to look like crayons. Either way, you can get it from Crayola for $29.99. Also great for those in clown college. I’m surprised they didn’t put that crayon sharpener on it somewhere like on the crayon box.
