Here’s some good news for Android owners. Netflix is on the lookout for an Android developer to help them build a streaming client for Android devices. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that an official Netflix app should be on its way.

A Netflix app that will allow subscribers to watch their movies directly on their mobile Android device. There’s no official time frame yet, so who knows when it will happen, but they are working on it.

Why is Apple hiring antenna engineers? I thought we were holding it wrong. According to several job postings, Apple is looking for Antenna Engineers, with the job definition including “Define and implement antenna system architecture to optimize the radiation performance for wireless portable devices.”

The postings were made on June 23rd, about the same time that folks started noticing the iPhone 4′s antenna issues. Thing is, they had engineers already that should have caught this.

I’ve always said that if you want to know what a company is up to, check their job listings. Okay, I’ve never said that. I’m saying it now. Just yesterday I looked around and saw that Canon was hiring people for all sorts of camera related stuff, so I know it works.

Apple has published a job posting that mentions “integration of camera modules across iPhone and iPod”. So it looks like the iPod is going to get a digital camera. Maybe. Pretty cool!
