Looks like Samsung has a bit of a hit on its hands. Samsung has announced that it has sold 2M Samsung Jet handsets with pre-orders alone. For Samsung, this represents the largest handset order ever. The Jet runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, with some serious capabilities like a 800Mhz processor and a WVGA AMOLED display. Those two features are superior to the iPhone 3GS. It even has decent looks.

The Samsung Jet also sports a web browser based on Webkit (like the iPhone and the G1), a 5MP camera and more. While Windows Mobile 6.1 is not your ideal dream touch-phone OS, we can hope that it’s upgradable to WM 6.5.

MAXON announced their free update for Cinema 4D in May and they’ve got a lot of fans. It has nearly 40 improvements over R9.5. Some people are crazy about it.

One of Maxon’s fans went to a lot of trouble to create a bike inspired by the technology. The Power Racer sports a Maxon themed body, two large jet engine looking cylinders and an awesome look. I don’t know about Maxon, but I know I want this bike/trike/jet thing in my garage.

Remember that stealth aircraft mouse we told you about last year? It’s just zipped back into our skies with new color options. I still think it’s coolest in black. Anyway I know that many of you spend your days reliving scenes from Top Gun.

What better way to keep your friendlies and boogies straight then by having more colors? This way you can keep track of Jester and Maverick and whatever the hell other names they used in that 80′s movie. It beats the plain old mouse you’re using now right? Go get one for $18. The Cerva MC08 is an oval-shaped concept transport vehicle that almost looks like it sports an evil laughing face in front. It’s designed for use as a car, motorcycle, a jet plane and even a submarine. It was designed by a team of designers including Michal Cerva, Jiri Bicik, Jana Kunstova, Marketa Schindlerova, and Jan Zof.

Of course, it’s in the conceptual stage, but you have to admire their ambition. The Cerva MC08 is somewhat modular and can be fitted with a variety of extensions: three wheel axles can be fixed to use it on road. It can carry either one or two people at a time. On the road, it’s middle wheel slips forward for stability at higher speeds. In slow speed the stability is established by gyroscopes hidden in the axle. This is a perfect toy for those rich adventurers out there.
