Back To The Future II Marty McFly jacket on eBayHello McFly! Anybody home? If you’re planning a trip into the future or into the past, you’ll want a jacket that will look good while adventuring with Doc Brown. Even if you aren’t going to go traveling in time, it’s a great Halloween costume. Luckily for you it’s available on ebay. It’s not the actual prop jacket from the film, but an awesome detailed recreation. Sadly, it doesn’t include the auto-size adjusting and drying modes. Looks like it’s made from actual leather though. One can only hope since the starting bid is $399.99. It goes great with your hoverboard.

Stormtrooper Hoodie gets you into detention centersThe Stormtrooper hoodie is what you want to have on hand when rescuing Princesses from the Death Star. Imperial officers and Stormtroopers aren’t too bright so once you zip up the front mask part you’re good to go. They’ll probably just think the Emperor is phasing in softer armor.

It’s also available in Bobba Fett style. It’s great Halloween-ware. During the day it’s a casual geek hoodie, but come Halloween night just zip it up and get yourself some candy, no matter what your age. As long as they don’t ask to see your face, it’s all good.

Turn signal jacket for cyclists

Turn signal jacket for cyclistsTurn signal gadgets for cyclists is nothing new, but you don’t often see them in clothing. Ph.D student Leah Buechley on the other hand, has designed several items of electronic clothing, but her signal jacket for cyclists really stands out.

LEDs are embedded in an arrow formation and they flash to indicate that you are about to turn left or right. That’s a good idea since it will warn motorists, and prevent you from becoming roadkill, which we know some rednecks eat. The LEDs are powered by the round device in the center of the jacket, which is a small, sewable computer chip that Leah also designed herself. She obviously needs to be working with clothing manufacturers.
