It’s basically a portable media player with some extra capabilities, like voice over IP (VOIP), supports music/video playback, photo/text viewer, electronic dictionary function and more. Not a ton of other details, but at least it’s been outted.
According to Reigncom’s President, iriver will be releasing a cell phone early next year. The new iriver phone will be available from Korean carrier KT. The iriver phone concept had been previously spotted by many at CES 2008, but at the time iriver claimed the phone was just a concept. Well, seems like it’s for real now. We don’t have full specs yet, but we know the phone features a large touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and embedded access to Bugs Music Service, as well as handwriting recognition and multiple dictionaries on board. Should be available on March 9th.
