Today’s iPod dock of the day is the Maxell MXSP-D240 which comes in black or white colors and looks like a barrel. We can only assume that a Mario accessory is on the way.
This dock comes with a few 53mm driver units and should roll onto the Japanese market sometime this month for €76. Careful you don’t let this one roll off your shelf. Anybody digging this design? Maybe I’m being too harsh.

After countless iPod/iPhone docks that are all pretty much the same, the XML8110 Mechless Mobile Audio system manages to be unique. It combines an iPod docking station with a car stereo. On the surface it looks like a standard car stereo, but when you flip it down, the integrated universal iPod dock is exposed.
Panasonic has unveiled their latest iPod docks from their D-Dock series. Dubbed the Panasonic SC-HC4 and HC3, these slim iPod docking stations pack in a digital amplifier delivering 20Watts × 2 channels output, an AM/ FM tuner, CD player and a SD card slot.
Today’s iPod dock of the day award goes to the Hard Rock Cafe’s very own iPod Dock. I guess it makes sense for them to offer one up. The limited edition Hard Rock MP3 Retro Radio features an FM digital tuner and an iPod dock that supports every generation including the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch.
If you’re looking for a boring and plain iPod dock and you are prepared to spend a small fortune on it, this one is for you. For $379.99, you can get the “high-end” Wadia 170i Transport iPod dock.

These new Barbie iPod docks are great if you live in an oversized Malibu dreamhouse, have never grown up and are female. If you fit that description, these Barbie iPod docks are for you. All of that pink is sure to annoy the Ken in your life however.
And the iPod dock of the day award goes to the JVC XS-SR3 Series which is available in either white or black. It covers the entire iPod range: mini, nano, photo, video, classic and touch. And it’s nice looking too, with a retro flair.
Yamaha has another iPod dock up their sleeves with the launch of the PDX-60 iPod Dock, which connects to your iPod or iPhone via Yamaha’s yAired wireless technology, using a small wireless transmitter attached to your iPhone or iPod.
LG has announced a new home theater system. The LG HB954SP Blu-ray HCS offers Full HD 1080p video and 5.1 surround, with 1,000W of audio tuned by audio-wizard Mr Mark Levinson. It features a slide-out dock in front for your iPod or iPhone, and you can control it from the HB954SP’s own remote.
The Sharper Image is starting to out some of their products again. Here we have 19 and 22 inch LCD TVs, each with an iPod Dock and DVD Player. The TSI-LCD22DVDi LCD sports a built in DVD player, USB, SD card reader and an iPod dock.

One of the better iPod docks that I have tested in recent years was the cool (and pointy) Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin. The only real downside to that thing was that it was very large for a speaker dock. I guess B&W felt the same way and the company has unveiled a new smaller
