HyperDrive launches new Hard Drive for the iPad

Remember the HyperDrive? It’ an external hard drive that can be connected to your Apple iPad using Apple’s camera connection kit. Well, HyperDrive has now launched a new version, this time with a nicer price. It starts at $99.

You do have to add in your own hard drive. That’s why it doesn’t cost more. The HyperDrive hard drive for the Apple iPad can hold up to 1TB of storage and the built in internal battery is only good for about 40GBs of transfer/read from the HyperDrive after that you’ll need to recharge it or connect it to a 5v power supply.

If you need more iPad storage space, then you might consider the new HyperDrive from HyperMac. The HyperDrive is an external hard drive for the Apple iPad that delivers up to 750GB of storage to your iPad.

This device connects via Apple’s camera connection kit. The HyperDrive comes packed with a 3.2-inch color display and a d-pad with menu buttons for navigation. There’s also a built-in memory card reader. HyperDrive prices start at $249 for the basic model. The 750GB model is $599.

Sanho intros HyperDrive COLORSPACE UDMA to backup photosYou now have a new option when backing up your photos. Sanho’s HyperDrive COLORSPACE UDMA photo backup unit. It can go through 2GB of data per minute and is also “the only storage device in the market that can decode and display true RAW images from any camera on its 3.2-inch (QVGA) color LCD screen.”

It will also adjust images automatically if you change the way you are holding it. The included data synchronization lets the drive to sync information with another external HDD or your computer. If that isn’t enough for you, it’s compatible with 14 different types of memory cards. Sounds like it should meet all your photo editing needs. It should be available next month between $339 for 80GB and $599 for 500GB.
