Samsung unveils new Blu-ray HTIB with the HT-BD3252Samsung’s latest Blu-ray Home Theater In a Box is a nice all-in-one solution.The HT-BD3252 supports all of the latest HD audio codecs like TrueHD and DTS-HD, and a mic for automatic calibration. It features an integrated Blu-ray player, which supports BD-Live.

Samsung has also included internet services like Pandora, Netflix and Blockbuster via an included WiFi dongle and more. Even an iPod dock. You get a bunch of features for just $799. Those looking for an all-in-one solution should definitely check this one out.

Samsung HT-BD2E

Samsung is kicking out another home theater in a box system which sports an included Blu-ray Disc player. This one is called the Samsung HT-BD2E and pricing will be at around $800.

The Samsung HT-BD2E, which will be available in August, joins two similar systems Samsung already offers. This particular system reportedly offers the same quality features as the others while also offering a more “user friendly” 5.1-channel design. It includes your four typical statellite speakers, a center channel and a passive subwoofer.

Onkyo kicks off mid-year with new receivers, home theater systems

Onkyo yesterday made some new product annoucements associated with mid-year releases. These new products include two mid-price home theater receivers and two packaged home theater systems. The Onkyo TX-SR706 receiver is now available around $900.  HT-S7100 and HT-S6100 systems are also currently available around $900 and $800 respectively. The TX-SR806 will price around $1,100, and it will be shipping in mid August.

Highlights of this new gear include both receivers being THX certified and including the new THX Loudness Plus audio processing technology for improved low-volume-level listening and the home theater systems being seven-channel. You can get full details after the jump.

Panasonic unveils Blu-ray HTiB system

Panasonic SC-BT100

Pansonic has itself its first new home theater in a box (HTiB) system with an integrated Blu-Ray Disc player set to go on sale. It is called the SC-BT100 and you’ll find it for around $1,000.

The Panasonic SC-BT100 includes speakers and a subwoofer for a 5.1 channel experience. It can be upgraded to wireless full 7.1 channel sound with the optional purchase of two side speakers and a transceiver. The included Blu-ray Disc player has “the Final Standard Profile for advanced functions such as Bonus View and audio mixing, which allows the consumer to switch the sound between the main and sub windows.”
