HTC Sensation 4G available at T-Mobile, $150 online

Posted in HTC by Conner Flynn on June 15th, 2011

Walmart shoppers got a head start on the rest of us, but now everyone else can get the HTC Sensation 4G direct from T-Mobile. The list price is $200 on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate, and you can also get an extra $50 off when you order online.

That makes the cost $150. The same price that Walmart’s been selling it for. The phone features a 4.3-inch qHD screen, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and Android 2.3 with Sense. Sound good?

Samsung and Motorola aren’t the only ones rocking dual-core handsets in the UK. HTC has one too. The HTC Sensation 1.2GHz handset has gone up for pre-order today, with Vodafone planning to deliver “by the 19th of May.”

So it will be just a few weeks. The dual-core Android wars have begun. Other European markets will likely join the UK at about the same time, with T-Mobile in the US soon after. Are you interested in the Sensation?

HTC Pyramid renamed HTC Sensation

Posted in HTC by Reuben Drake on April 6th, 2011

The HTC Pyramid will now be called the HTC Sensation when it comes to the UK. The newly christened HTC Sensation will launch in the UK on Tuesday at HTC’s media event and be available in the UK in the next few months.

Right now we don’t have any info regarding when it will be in stores or which operator it will be available on. The HTC Sensation has been keeping a low profile and didn’t even show up at global mobile phone tradeshows MWC and CTIA in February and March. Word is that it will pack in a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core processor and run the latest version of Gingerbread.
