This concept design for a futuristic Harley-Davidson motorcycle looks a lot like Batman’s Batcycle from The Dark Knight. And that is an awesome thing. Might as well wear the entire costume and cruise around Gotham looking for crazies.

The design itself is low on details, but we don’t even care. Ten years from now I want to be riding this thing. That’s all there is to it. By then I might even be able to afford it in my Batcave.

We’ve seen our share of steampunk devices around here, but we’ve never seen a steampunk Harley Davidson. Until now. The bike frame looks like a Steampunk skeletal structure more than a frame. There’s also a cool T-Sable Spring engine and of course a Harley-Davidson transmission.

It goes by the name “Barro”. I would call it a sort of minimal interpretation of steampunk, but it works and makes the bike look as if it’s alive.

Born to Be Wild song tunes running around inside your head aside, do you want some type of genuine motor accessory from Harley-Davidson to customize your ride a little more? How about a special version of a GPS unit from Garmin. That’s the idea for the new Garmin Road Tech zūmo, which currently has no pricing information.

The Garmin Road Tech zūmo is a customized version of the GPS company’s motorcycle specific GPS device. It has, among its more customized features, a points of interest directory including Harley-Davidson dealerships, a custom handbar mount and the ability to download to the GPS unit “great rides” from the Harley-Davidson Web site.

This is obviously the Hamburglar’s getaway vehicle. Frankly, I’m surprised we don’t see this kind of thing more often, since Harley’s are a symbol of the American dream. Judging by the hoardes of obese Fast Food enthusiasts out there, the only thing more American is obesity. Which makes this a much desired vehicle.

Let the fatties begin fighting over it, while Grimace and Ronald laugh hysterically. It’s got all the fixings, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, buns and patty. The top bun flips up to access to the seat, and the handlebars have a tray with a burger and fries.
