Diamond Multimedia recently launched an extremely overclocked graphics card for those into intense gaming. It is called the Diamond XOC ATI Radeon HD 4870 and pricing is around $320.

The Diamond XOC ATI Radeon HD 4870 graphics card is designed for the latest DirectX 10.1 games, according to Diamond. It “is a dual slot card, PCIE 2.0, with 512MB of DDR5 memory and a clock speed of 800 MHz. The memory speed is 1100 MHz, designed with 800 stream processors.”

Elitegroup Computer Systems unveiled a new high end Nvidia-based graphics gamer pack which  includes two graphics cards and a cooling system. It is called the ECS GeForce 9800 GTX+ Hydra Pack - no specific pricing was mentioned.

The ECS GeForce 9800 GTX+ Hydra Pack bundles together two Nvidia N9800GTX+-512MX-W graphics cards and the ECS Hydra Cooling System. This package supports Nvidia PhysX as well as Nvidia CUDA technology, while the included cooling system is said to deliver just under 20 percent better cooling efficiency compared to similar liquid cooling systems.

IOGear pumps out products like there is no tomorrow. They also assign them really funky model names, luckily tying those to titles we can actually understand. This newest product should be pretty clear therefore - the USB 2.0 External DVI Video Card, or model GUC2020DW6 if keeping track, priced at around $150.

The mission of the GUC2020DW6 is simple - deliver DVI video output to an additional computer display to spread workflow out. This external card does this via USB connectivity by connecting the video adapter and installing an included driver.

Diamond Multimedia, a maker of PC graphics cards and other products, announced today PCI Express 2.0 graphics cards which host new AMD/ATI graphics CPUs. The Radeon HD3850 and HD3870 cards are priced at around $180 and $230 respectively.

The ATI Radeon HD3850 card is what is described as the single slot core model with 256MB of DDR3 memory and a clock speed of 668 MHz. The HD3870 is the dual slot version, with 512MB of DDR4 memory and a clock speed of 775 MHz. The HD3800 series, as this cards are known as, uses ATI CrossFireX multi-GPU technology “to simplify installation of up to four compatible cards.”
