The sizes available range from 36 to 41. Color schemes for the foot straps are yellow, red, or dark blue. Each pair will cost you $29. Try not to hit Cntrl-Alt-Del or you might trip and fall. So, who’s man enough to buy a pair?

Magnetic Thinking Putty combines magnetism and Silly Putty for geeky fun

Posted in Toys by Shane McGlaun on July 6th, 2010

I bet there are many geeks out there who played with Silly Putty as a kid. You remember the stuff you could stretch it, tear it, bounce it and more. Vat19 has a new kind of putty called Magnetic Thinking Putty.

This stuff is very similar to Silly Putty in that you can shape it and bounce it. The big difference is that the Magnetic Thinking Putty has millions of tiny magnets inside the putty and you can make the putty stretch and dance using a powerful cube magnet that is included.

Carry-on Coat is perfect for the geek flasher

Posted in Accessories by Shane McGlaun on July 5th, 2010

In movies, flashers always have long trenchcoats and run around showing off their jiggly bits to everyone. If that flasher were a geek that wanted to stay connected while flashing, he would need the new SCOTTEVEST Carry-On Coat.

The new coat has a ton of pockets covering all sizes and appears to be the required trench coat length. There are pockets for the iPad, the iPhone, MP3 players, water, keys and just about anything else you can think of.

Awesome Space Invaders clock

Posted in Clocks by Conner Flynn on March 8th, 2010

Check out this amazing Space Invaders clock. Space Invaders may have been released about six years after Pong, that doesn’t mean that this Space Invaders clock uses newer technology than the Adafruit Pong Clock that has been circulating.

The two clocks actually share the very same guts inside, but the Space Invaders clock has updated firmware. This is one of the coolest Space Invaders clocks we’ve seen. I’d wake up to that. The fight between man and alien never looked so cool.

Geeky video game controller ornaments

Geeky video game controller ornamentsHere are some ornaments that are sure to make your tree geek-chic this Christmas. Sure, you could go the usual route and deck your tree in cheesy plastic ornaments that are all generic, but these ornaments are so much cooler.

They represent you for the gaming geek that you are. Forget the boring Santas and the plain red ball ornaments. A Dreamcast controller is what the holidays are really about. Right?

Lego Baseplate Shirt may be the nerdiest shirt ever

Posted in Apparel by Conner Flynn on September 17th, 2009

Lego Baseplate Shirt may be the nerdiest shirt everThis shirt is an awesome idea, but it might be a little too much. I mean, Legos are great and wearing a Lego construction on your chest sounds neat in theory. But in practice I imagine it might not be so cool.

The Brick Construction Shirt features a Lego baseplate on the chest so that you can build whatever you want in bricks and display it. You know, like a TIE Fighter, a message, whatever. Sounds pretty uncomfortable and I’m sure your creations will spend most of their time falling off.

Echo Bot Voice Messenger is a geeky desk guard

Posted in Security by Conner Flynn on March 19th, 2009

Echo Bot Voice Messenger is a geeky desk guardAt first glance the Echo Bot Voice Messenger looks like a webcam. It isn’t and it is designed to fool people in just that way. It’s really a motion detector that will guard your desk or cubicle from others who might intrude.

The idea is that you record messages that are triggered by the motion detector. Just record your message,(We would advise something nasty and filled with some particularly colorful metaphors about respecting your stuff) then let the motion detector do it’s thing. If your co-worker invades your space they are going to get a nasty surprise.

Getting geeky/freaky with Spy Camera Sunglasses

Posted in Glasses by Nino Marchetti on March 17th, 2008

geek-sunglasses.jpgYou too can now look cool and geeky as you cruise down the road on your favorite moped. All it takes is these new 1.3 Megapixel Spy Camera Sunglasses, available through ThinkGeek for around $100.

The 1.3 Megapixel Spy Camera Sunglasses can help you snap photos of that hot model in the Porsche next to you at the stoplight. The 1.3-megapixel lens is embedded in part of front of the frame, and she’ll never know you are shooting photos as you stare with drool apparent. She may think you are a bit creepy though, dusting you when the light turns green.
