Flexible PSP hand-grip for serious remote gaming

Flexible handgrip controller mount for the Sony PSPJapan’s Vis-a-Vis has a new PSP controller accessories do give you a better grip on your PSP or PSP lite. The “Flexible Hand Grip Pad Advance” mounts onto the back of the PSP to give a hand-hold similar to that of a Dual-Shock controller to avoid any of that cramping up during hours of remote play.

The flexible handgrip appears to still keep access to all the controls including the power button and Wi-Fi enable switch on the sides, and when it slides apart for use it even exposes the UMD tray on the back. When not in use the grip slides together to be a little more compact, but is still a pretty bulky accessory compared to the PSP itself.

Xbox 360 Elite laptop is a masterpiece of mod

Xbox 360 Elite laptop
If you don’t know Ben Heckendorn, the man will modify any game console. Nothing is safe from his artist’s hands, whether he’s making an old Atari 2600 into a portable unit or making an XBox 360 Elite laptop. Basically, the man is a modding God.

Now, he’s turned an Xbox 360 Elite into a laptop, a portable gaming system that can be taken anywhere. The screen has a resolution of 1280×720 which allows for 720p HD viewing, and it has an Xbox camera built in. I’d love to own one, but it’s a custom creation. You won’t be able to buy it anywhere anytime soon. Unless of course you were to commission one.

The Darwin controller is some Wii competition

The Darwin controller is some Wii competitionWant to get in on some of that Wii action, with a controller just as intuitive, but still can’t find a Wii? Maybe it’s just time for motion-controlled games on a different platform. Darwin’s new Motus controller will work with other systems. Not the Wii. Mainly the PS3 and your computer. The Darwin contains gyroscopes and accelerometers to sense its location and it’s said to be more accurate in tracking motion than is Wii’s infrared.

It’s fairly neat looking and it’s meant to be held like a Samurai sword, which should make for excellent slicing and dicing action. Not to mention golf. The Darwin should be available by the 2008 holiday season. The price will be between $79 and $99. No word yet on what games it will work with, new or old.

Game Boy bricks might help your resale value

Game Boy bricks
With the housing market being what it is, homes need all the help they can get. Anything to add some value, should you want to sell down the road. So, why not get some of these Game Boy bricks and redo a garden path in the backyard.

These are the brainchild of a Denmark man who wanted to add some gaming to his architecture. You have to admit, they look pretty nice after they’ve been in place and aged a bit. Here I thought the actual Game Boy was about as useful as a brick these days. The guy put alot of time into perfecting these. At first they would explode in the oven, but he finally got it right. If you have a gaming themed home, why not go the extra mile and sink some of these into your dirt.

Toshiba made it and owns the patent on it. There are 55 keys circled around the pad; notice how this keyboard is a QWERGT design and the O, B and K keys are separate buttons? Toshiba says that their keyboard has extra large control buttons to make playing games easier for your digits.
