Samsung is ready to release their first cellphone with a pico-projector built-in, the Galaxy Beam. We heard about this one awhile back and though it sounds like a weapon from an old Sci-Fi movie, don’t worry, your galaxies are safe. For now.

The pico-projector in this one is built by Texas Instruments and can display projections from 5 to 50 inches in size. The Android 2.1 phone also features a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED, 8 MP camera, FM, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and 16 GB storage.

Looks like Samsung is getting into the tablet action as well. The company’s official South African Twitter account has revealed a picture of a Samsung tablet, called the Samsung Galaxy Tab, sitting next to the Samsung Galaxy S. We don’t have any details to go with the pic, but it’s running Android 2.1 with the latest TouchWiz interface, offering a 7-inch display, 3.5mm headphone jack and a front-facing camera.

There seems to be a “Phone” icon sitting at the left bottom corner of the Samsung Galaxy Tab’s display, which is interesting. Rumors say that Samsung is working on three Android tablets that are to be launched this year, the first being this 7-inch model, followed by an 8-inch device in October, and a 10-inch device in December.

New Tokyoflash Galaxy watch
Here’s the latest awesome looking, but hard to read Tokyoflash watch. This one is called Galaxy and features a “powerful formation of multi-colored light bars, developed using digital tube technology”. It also has a “custom linked, brushed silver strap”. But here’s what you really want to know. How do you read the time?

Hitting the upper button starts an animation, then it will show you the time. The twelve yellow bars are hours going in a clock wise direction, the red bars are groups of five minutes and the four green bars are single minutes. If you use the lower button it will show you the time immediately. It will cost you about $132 USD. Love em or hate em Tokyoflash is making the world look like Sci-Fi one wrist at a time.

Milky Way in the palm of your hand
No, not the candy bar… If you’re one of those people who like to have totally unique and cool objects decorating your home, then why not display the Milky Way galaxy for all to see and be impressed with? This device is also great for those bent on Galaxy wide domination. Imagine being able to hold the galaxy in the palm of your hand while you laugh maniacally at your enemy’s staship movements.

Living World’s Milky Way galaxy 3D model was created using real space data from Eiichiro Kokubo, Assistant Professor at Japan’s National Astronomical Observatory and Osaka University’s Kato Tsunehiko. Holding the galaxy in your hand isn’t cheap though, it will cost you about $770.
