BenQ VW2220H 21.5-inch Full HD LCD TV

BenQ has launched the VW2220H 21.5-inch Full HD LCD TV in Japan. This monitor features a 178 degree viewing angle horizontally and vertically, a brightness level of 250cd/m2, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and LED backlighting. That’s not all.

The new Full HD LCD TV also packs in Senseye technology, which aims to recreate the true colors of the world using its six proprietary calibration settings: Standard, Movie, Photo, sRGB, Game and Eco. The BenQ VW2220H 21.5-inch Full HD LCD TV is 19,800 Yen or about $247.

Philips Brilliance 273P3L 27-Inch Full HD Monitor

Philips has just unveiled another Full HD monitor with the introduction of the Brilliance 273P3L. Using PowerSensor technology, this new 27-inch LED-backlit monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 395 cd/m2 brightness and a 2ms response time.

As far as connectivity ports for your other stuff, you are covered. It has three USB 2.0, D-Sub, DVI as well as HDMI. The Brilliance 273P3L will be available soon for about 390 Euro (or about $550).

Mitsubishi Electric RDT233WXL 23-inch Full HD IPS Monitor for Japan

Mitsubishi Electric has launched the RDT233WXL 23-inch Full HD IPS monitor in Japan. It’s not entirely new as it is actually a variant of the recently released RDT233WX series.

It is available in a non-glare model and this new IPS monitor features an 8000:1 contrast ratio, a 250cd/m2 brightness level and Mitsubishi’s enhanced ECO professional mode for better power optimization. We don’t have any info on pricing just yet though.

Samsung W200 shock + waterproof pocket cam with full HD video

Word on the street is that Samsung is expected to announce a new W200 shock+waterproof pocket cam with full HD video capabilities. It looks nice and sporty doesn’t it? Looks like it can take a decent beating. The sensor resolution will be 5MP (back side illuminated).

So feel free to carry this one with you on your Indiana Jones type adventures, stopping to snap a pic occasionally as you outrun enemies and uncover buried treasures. Or just, you know, take it with you on vacation. The announcement should be in a few days.

LG E2770V-BF 27-Inch Full HD Monitor

Those looking for a largish computer monitor will want to take a good look at LG’s latest Full HD monitor, the E2770V-BF. It uses LG’s TruMotion technology, so it should perform well under most situations.

The 27-inch IPS LED-backlit monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. Other features include D-Sub, DVI-D as well as 2 HDMI connectors. The E2770V-BF will cost you about $410.

Acer H274H Full HD Monitor

Acer has just unveiled their latest Full HD monitor, the H274H, for the European market. This one is targeted at gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. The 27-inch LED-backlight monitor has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/170 degree viewing angles.

As far as connectivity ports, you get D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. The H274H is available for purchase right now in Europe for 299 Euro (That’s $422 yankee dollars).

Acer intros two new large Full-HD PC monitors

Acer has announced two new Full HD monitors for your consideration: the 24-inch B243HLCOymdr and 27-inch B273HLOymidh. Both LED-backlight monitors use a Vertical Alignment panel and deliver 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness (B243HLCOymdr), 300 cd/m2 brightness (B273HLOymidh), 8ms response time (B243HLCOymdr), 10ms response time (B273HLOymidh) and 178/178 degree viewing angles.

As far as connectivity ports, you get D-Sub, DVI and HDMI (B273HLOymidh). The B243HLCOymdr and B273HLOymidh are available now for 249 Euro (about $351) and 399 Euro (about $562).

ASUS announces three new full HD monitors

ASUS has announced three new Full HD Monitors to their Designo ML series. These models are the 21.5-inch ML229H, 23-inch ML239H and 24-inch ML249H. The LED-backlight monitors deliver 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

There is a 5ms response time for the ML229H and ML239H, an 8ms response time for the ML249H and 178-degree ultra-wide viewing angles. They come with D-Sub and HDMI connectors. No info on pricing yet however.

Samsung unveils HMX-P300 and HMX-P100 Full HD pocket-sized Camcorders

Samsung has unveiled a couple of Full HD pocket camcorders, the HMX-P300 and HMX-P100. They have a One Touch Sharing Function that makes uploading videos fast and easy. A pop-out USB plug facilitates data transfer and battery charging. The HMX-P300 features an 8 Megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with a 3x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch touch LCD and composite video output and comes in titan black, silver, white and pink for $199 in March.

The HMX-P100 has a 5 Megapixel BSI sensor, a 1x zoom lens and a 2.3-inch LCD display. This one will cost you $149 and will hit stores in black, silver, blue and pink.

BenQ DV S11 Full HD Camcorder with Pico Projector

The BenQ DV S11 Full HD Camcorder / Pico Projector Combo sure makes it easy to share your video. It’s a 1080p zoomless camcorder in the Flip style and can also handle five megapixel stills.

We don’t have any specs for the projector itself, but they say it can put a 50-inch picture on your wall. If you like what you see, it’s available now in Hong Kong for $2,399 HKD, which is about $300.

BenQ GL2430HM Full HD Monitor

BenQ has unveiled another Full HD monitor in the form of the GL2430HM. It uses BenQ’s Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology for enhancing the color, clarity and contrast of whatever video content you are watching.

This 24-inch LED-backlit monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and a 5ms response time. As far as connectivity ports, it offers DVI-D, D-Sub and HDMI.

Samsung announces two new Full HD Monitors

Samsung has just added two new Full HD monitors to its lineup with the 22-inch SyncMaster 2243DW and 24-inch SyncMaster 2443DW, both for the European market. These are aimed at business users and both are widescreen, delivering a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.

Other features include a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the 2243DW and a 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the 2443DW, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. They are also compliant with TCO 5.0 standard and have D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort connectors.

Packard Bell intros two new Full HD Monitors

Packard Bell has announced two new Full HD monitors with the introduction of the 21.5-inch Maestro LED 220 and 24-inch Maestro LED 240. Both of are LED-backlit monitors that support a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and deliver a 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 2ms response.

These monitors are also Energy Star 5.0 certified which is great for your wallet and the environment. They also have both DVI and HDMI connectors. Nothing on pricing and availability yet, but hopefully we will know soon.

Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH4 full HD camcorder with YouTube and Facebook integration

Sanyo has announced their latest Xacti digicams, this time they are aimed at the social media crowd. The VPC-GH4 is similar to the VPC-GH2, since it features Full HD 1080 video recording, but unlike the GH2, it integrates YouTube, Facebook, and Picasa uploads, even Twitter notifications.

The downside is that the newer model has still photos taken down to 10 megapixels (the old one featured 14 megapixels). Still, at $200, it’s all good. It hits store shelves later this month.

Mitsubishi announces Full HD 3D TVs with built-in HDD and Blu-ray Burner

The 3D TVs just keep on coming and Mitsubishi is introducing some 3D TVs that offer an integrated Blu-ray player/recorder and hard drive. Of course, they’re not cheap. They will cost you $5,900, $4,700, and $3,500 for the 55-inch, 46-inch, and 40-inch models respectively.

At least for those prices they will come bundled with a pair of 3D glasses. They should go on sale on October 21st in Japan. Specifications of all three models are identical and include a Full HD LCD panel, LED backlight, Blu-ray burner that can play 3D Blu-ray discs, 1TB hard drive, DIATONE speaker system, USB and HDMI ports and an SD memory card slot.
