fuji3dcam-sbA lot has changed in the world of photography over the years. I remember when the coolest camera on the market was that Polaroid that took pictures that you had to shake. Digital cameras came along not long after than with all the good that came along with it.

Fujifilm was one of the early digital camera pioneers and the company is set to launch a new camera that may well usher in the next era in digital photography. The camera is called the FinePix Real 3D System and it allows you to shoot 3D images.

Fujifilm FinePix Z33WPFujifilm just announced their latest FinePix digital camera, the Z33WP. It targets those of us with a more adventurous spirit, since it is waterproof up to 3 meters and boasts large rubber-type buttons. Some features include a 10 megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 2.7″ LCD display that will provide instant previews.

The Z33WP only measures 20mm thin. You can choose from green, blue, black, gold and pink options. Though I can’t see most adventurers choosing pink. The FinePix Z33WP is expected to have a £200 price point.

Photo printing service hits Japanese Wiis

Photo printing service hits Japanese WiisHere’s something else to complain about when it comes to Nintendo’s constant need to keep things away from American hands. A new partnership between Nintendo and Fujifilm is spawning the Wii Digicam Print Channel, which is immediately available for Japanese Wii consoles to access.

It lets owners upload images from SD cards and get customized prints, photo books, business cards, and more in the mail. I’m not entirely sure why they feel the need to waste resources on this one when people can just use their computer, but I’m sure one or two people will love it. Probably the same people who bought the gameboy printer. It will likely hit North America and Europe at some point in the future.
