Goldtouch Go! Keyboard folds in halfLooking for a portable travel keyboard that can fold in half for easy transportation? The Goldtouch Go! keyboard does just that. But unlike other portable keyboards, this one is said to be ergonomically designed in order to reduce the risk of injury when using it for a long time.

Not only is it portable, but it’s also light weight, weighing less than 0.5kgs. It comes with built-in key covers to protect it against dust and dirt.

6 speaker set folds into a cube

6 speaker set folds into a cubeDesigner Ji-Hyung Jung is pretty clever as illustrated by this interesting mobile speaker set design. The idea is that you have a cube held together by magnets, that is actually 5 speakers and a sub-woofer.

The whole deal looks pretty sweet once the pieces are out and displayed. And if you want to take them with you, they take up much less room than typical speakers. The volume control is on the top of the sub-woofer. It’s just a concept for the moment, but it’s a great one.

iCEphone folds three ways

iCEphone folds three waysDepending on your point of view, this is either bizarre or amazing. This handset does just about everything and somehow stays fairly slim and compact. The iCEphone is due to be released from The Medical Phone Ltd. in the UK and the most exciting and strange thing about it is that it folds three ways. It’s a portable video game platform, GPS and smartphone all in one, plus micro notebook.

It sports a three-way hinge that allows access to a 3-inch touch screen display at 240 x 400 resolution, a QWERTY keyboard and a mouse tracker pad with gaming controls. ICE stands for “In Case of Emergency Phone.” You’ll get a 3G connection with support for GPRS and EDGE, two SIM card slots, WiFI, and a 3.1 megapixel camera. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro. The iCEphone will be available in Thailand, then in the UK in the spring of next year for under $1,000.

Nomad Electric Guitar folds up

Nomad Electric Guitar folds up
So you have to get to your gig, which requires you to lug your guitar through the streets, maybe on a bus or two. It’s a real hassle, man. When are they gonna realize that you rock and give you that super amazing record deal? I mean you beat the hell out of Guitar Hero.

The Nomad electric guitar won’t get you noticed by labels, but it can make your life easier by being very portable. Other guitar makers tried making a guitar that folds once, but it can still be awkward. The neck on the Electric Nomad folds twice. The guitar is a competition size electric ax with all the regular features. It just folds up to half its normal size. The neck folds, and the strings roll up on a spool.

Xentex laptop knows when to fold em

Xentex laptop knows when to fold em
Much like Kenny Rogers, the Xentex laptop knows when to fold em. It knows when to walk away and when to run. It wasn’t satisfied with simply opening and closing. Oh no. It can fold twice for portability. That means that the system has two 13.3″ screens that can independently swivel so you can share your stuff with your friends sitting opposite you.

Together, the screens combine to measure 19.5″ across for a huge display. Inside it’s got an 850MHz Athlon processor and 128MB of memory. It’s kind of like having a Rubik’s computer. It can be found on ebay and as of this writing it’s at $405.00 with 11 bids, 6 days to go.
