iBooks now supports PDF files |
With the success of the iPad, Apple has announced some updates for its iBook app at WWDC. The changes are fairly practIcal and useful ones. Things that make life just a tad easier with books.
Like the ability to make notes in your book, there’s a new bookmark ribbon, a page to display your notes and bookmarks, and yes, PDF support. Those additions should help steer even more people to the iPad who are looking for an eBook reader, but are undecided.




It’s far from the first time that Apple has filed patents for some kind of tablet computer. It’s been described in the past as a large iPhone, or as a full tablet, but these latest images look like a large mobile internet device that would be pretty neat. Most of the 52-page filing is in regards to the touchpad.
