Eizo Releases 36.4-inch 4K2K Monitor In Japan |
Eizo is getting ready to release the DuraVision FDH3601 in Japan. This 36.4-inch monitor packs in a 4K2K resolution (4,096 x 2,160), two DVI-D ports, two DisplayPort inputs, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 700cd/m2 brightness level and an 8ms response time.
Those are some great specs. And with great specs comes a not so great price. The Eizo DuraVision FDH3601 will be available in September 2011 for 2,880,000 Yen or about $35,871.

Eizo’s latest offering, the 24.1-inch LCD FlexScan S2433W-H monitor targets professional users with features like a rotating panel design for better viewing angles. It’s a widescreen monitor that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and features a 6ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness.
EIZO is all set for a European launch with its latest LCD monitor, the Foris FX2431 next month. The Foris FX2431 is available in your choice of black or silver.
It’s a good idea. Not just because it’s cool, but also because it’s green. We’re talking monitors that activate or deactivate based on the mere presence of humans. It’s almost alive. Or may seem that way. It’s how Eizo’s 20-inch FlexScan EV2023W-H and 23-inch EV2303W-T roll. They’ll save you energy and money. And maybe help you shed some of that some of that green guilt.
When not dabbling in
The Eizo C@T-one from Nanao Japan is a roundish mouse that also doubles as a TV remote. The wireless mouse works on the 2.4Ghz frequency, has a scroll wheel and an optical sensor which turns off automatically after 30 minutes in order to save power. It also sports a tilt sensor similar to the iPhone, so that when you tilt the mouse it activates the remote control.
Eizo Nanao Technologies is showing off today a new 30-inch monitor which offers what is described as several high end features. The Eizo ColorEdge CG301W is scheduled to be available in February.
