Eizo Releases 36.4-inch 4K2K Monitor In Japan

Eizo is getting ready to release the DuraVision FDH3601 in Japan. This 36.4-inch monitor packs in a 4K2K resolution (4,096 x 2,160), two DVI-D ports, two DisplayPort inputs, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 700cd/m2 brightness level and an 8ms response time.

Those are some great specs. And with great specs comes a not so great price. The Eizo DuraVision FDH3601 will be available in September 2011 for 2,880,000 Yen or about $35,871.

If you are in the market for a new 22 incher, this may be the monitor for you. EIZO’s new 22-inch LCD monitor is part of its ColorEdge range and goes by the snappy name of “CG223W”. Thankfully the specs are better than the generic name.

The widescreen monitor uses a vertical alignment panel that delivers a 1680 x 1050 native resolution. Some other specs include a 6ms response time, 950:1 contrast ratio, 270 cd/m2 brightness and it will cover 95% of the Adobe RGB color spectrum. It also offers DisplayPort and dual DVI-I inputs.

It’s a widescreen monitor that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and features a 6ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness.

The EcoView function automatically adjusts brightness depending on the room’s lighting and covers 96% of the Adobe RGB color range. When it comes to ports, you get a D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort.

The 24-inch widescreen monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and features an S-PVA, 6ms response time, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness and covers a healthy 96% of the Adobe RGB color range. Some other features include 2w speakers, a pair of USB ports, one D-Sub, one DVI and two HDMI connectors.

Eizo FlexScan EV2333W-H LCD monitor announcedEizo has announced a new LCD monitor today. The FlexScan EV2333W-H. The monitor measures in at 23-inches and features a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Also, this 1080p display supplies an eco-friendly and practical monitor solution. It has both a HDCP-protected DVI port and DisplayPort. Other inputs include VGA.

With 300cd/m2 brightness and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, it’s equipped to offer a decent quality picture for everyday use. Some other specs include a 7ms pixel response time, FlexStand with vertical adjustment and swivel capability and EcoView Sense, which is an infrared sensor that detects the brightness in the room and whether or not you’re sitting in front of the computer, adjusting the screen’s on-status and brightness accordingly.

We’re talking monitors that activate or deactivate based on the mere presence of humans. It’s almost alive. Or may seem that way. It’s how Eizo’s 20-inch FlexScan EV2023W-H and 23-inch EV2303W-T roll. They’ll save you energy and money. And maybe help you shed some of that some of that green guilt.

The built-in motion sensor on the monitor switches to standby mode when a human is not detected for 40 seconds. Aside from that, both of these monitors are pretty typical. You’ll get 1600 × 900 native resolution, 178-degree viewing angles, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio for the EV2023W and 1920 × 1080 native resolution, 160-degree viewing angles, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio for the EV2303W.

Eizo intros two new color-accurate FlexScan LCDsWhen not dabbling in outlandish remote controls, Eizo is known for its their specialized monitors. Their latest announcement is a pair of new FlexScan LCDs that supposedly cover 95% of the Adobe RGB color space as well as 92% of the NTSC color spectrum.

The FlexScan S2242W-H and FlexScan S2232W-E are both 22-inchers. The FlexScan S2242W-H features a full 1920×1200 resolution and the FlexScan S2232W-E is 1680×1050. Otherwise, the pair are pretty identical. Some other specs include: 1,200:1 contrast ratio, a 12ms black-to-white response time, VGA and HDCP-capable DVI ports (no HDMI), a pair of USB ports, and a pair of built-in 0.5W speakers.

Eizo may be the coolest remote/mouse everThe Eizo C@T-one from Nanao Japan is a roundish mouse that also doubles as a TV remote. The wireless mouse works on the 2.4Ghz frequency, has a scroll wheel and an optical sensor which turns off automatically after 30 minutes in order to save power. It also sports a tilt sensor similar to the iPhone, so that when you tilt the mouse it activates the remote control.

It’s got all of your typical controls like power on/off, channel and volume control, mute etc. The device is powered by AA batteries which supposedly last for 3 months. The USB receiver is about the size of a pen drive and it’s compatible with Mac and Windows. Currently it’s available in Japan only for about $ 125.

Eizo ColorEdge CG301WEizo Nanao Technologies is showing off today a new 30-inch monitor which offers what is described as several high end features. The Eizo ColorEdge CG301W is scheduled to be available in February.

The Eizo ColorEdge CG301W is designed primarily for use with professional graphics applications, according to its maker. It has a native resolution of 2560×1600, 12-bit hardware calibration, picture in picture support and “employs a wide gamut LCD panel that is 100% vs. NTSC and reproduces 97% of the Adobe RGB color space.”
