That ASUS Eee Tablet that was unveiled back at Computex in June looked like a decent e-reader / note-taking gadget, but no one has heard a peep about it since. The “tablet” which boasted 2,450 dpi touchscreen sensitivity and quick 0.1 second page turns never saw its September release date, but according to ASUS it’s still alive and is now being renamed.

Word is that Digital Note and Eee Note are potential names. According to ASUS it will be demoed at CES and officially launched in the first quarter of 2011. However, it may be available in Europe earlier depending on local content partnerships.
