ASUS Ships Eee PC 1015PX Netbook |
For those of you who have been waiting for the arrival of the ASUS Eee PC 1015PX Netbook, we have some good news. Asus has now started shipping their new netbook and it is now available to purchase. To refresh your memory, the new ASUS Eee PC 1015PX is powered by an Intel Atom N570 Dual Core Processor 1.66Ghz, and has 1 GB DDR3 SODIMM memory, which can be increased up to 2 GB.
There’s also a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 screen and it runs Windows 7 Starter edition. There are two versions of the netbook: the 1015PX-PU17 with a 56W/h battery providing “up to 11 hours” of battery life and the 1015PX-MU17 with a 48W/h unit for maximal “10 hours” of battery life.









This is the Eee PC 1008P, the Seashell 2, which is not due to be unveiled until CES, but thanks to HardwareZone we have these images to check out in the meantime. The exterior was designed by Karim Rashid and under the hood is Intel’s Pine Trail architecture with an N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB of storage.
The ASUS Eee PC T91 has officially debuted on the company’s US website, and according to one dealer it’s set to hit stores this week. The 8.9-inch convertible touchscreen netbook is already available in the UK and features Intel’s Z520 1.33GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD.
The Asus Eee PC T91, the first touchscreen convertible netbook from the Taiwanese tech giant, will be making its way over to the UK within a month, and we now have some info on the price. The Asus Eee PC T91 was unveiled at CES in January, but Asus UK has kept quiet about a launch date for the tablet/netbook. Now we can report that the Asus Eee PC T91 will launch in either late May or early June in the region for £449.

ASUS this week slapped Windows XP officially as a pre-install onto its Eee PC product. The company also incorporated Windows Live and Microsoft Works features.
