Leica has now confirmed the limited edition Leica M7 Hermes Edition. This is the second collaboration between Leica and Hermes and there will only be 200 of these limited edition Leica M7s produced, 100 will be in orange and 100 in green. Each camera will also feature a special sequential serial number between 001 and 200.

All of the control elements of the LEICA M7 Edition ‘Hermès’ have been manufactured exclusively in metal, and the back of the camera is finished in silver chrome. While the red color of the engraved AUTO and flash settings on the shutter speed dial have been replaced by the shade of the camera’s leather.

Folks in Belgium will soon be invaded by a new pink menace; the new Samsung E2210 and Star Hello Kitty edition. At that time all of their teen girls will be enslaved into the Hello Kitty cult. The Earth will turn pink as they hold their phones skyward and send the signal that will summon their alien/cat master. And then she will come. God help us all.

The E2210 will retail for $100 and comes in a white and pink theme. The touchscreen-enabled Star comes in a similar color combination, it just has a higher €169 price tag. Specifications and features of both handsets remain the same.

Today Activision announced the DJ Hero Renegade Edition bundle. The bundle includes a peripheral that’s darker with less silver and some premium metal controls and finish. The package also comes with a hardshell carrying case that doubles as a stand and a Jay-Z / Eminem two-CD collection with unreleased tracks and a collectible case designed by Shepard Fairey.

Sony is all set to introduce its Vaio P WiMAX edition sometime later this month. July 30th in fact. The notbook will boast an integrated 4G mobile broadband modem to help keep you connected no matter where you are.

Motorola has unveiled the Celestial Edition of its Motorola Aura to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. It’s the standard Aura that you know and love with extras like original NASA content from the moon landing. You’ll get video footage and stills as well as historic audio clips like “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”, and “The Eagle has landed”.

All of this is somewhat fitting, since Motorola was the company that provided the original radio transponder aboard Apollo 11 that relayed the first words and visuals from the moon to Earth. Nothing on pricing yet, but I’m sure it will be expensive.

First launched in the spring of 2008, the Samsung F480 is Samsung’s most successful touchscreen phone to date. It’s sold more than 5 million units worldwide (under various names. You may know it as the Samsung TouchWiz, Samsung Toco or Samsung F488. Yeah, it has an identity crisis).

Anyhow, now the F480 comes in a Games Edition, with five full games pre-installed, including “Pacman”, “Who wants to be a millionaire 2009″ and “Millenium Poker.” Those names don’t seem all that exciting to us, but your mileage may vary. Aside from that feature, the Samsung F480 Games Edition looks to have the same features of the original phone: QVGA touchscreen display, 5MP autofocus camera, Bluetooth and HSDPA connectivity.

Motorola’s latest handset comes in the form of the W7 Active Edition slider, featuring a built-in pedometer and personal trainer application. They don’t call it the active edition for nothing. The Motorola W7 uses simple hand gestures, taps and flicks to perform various functions.

Flip the handset over to silence the ringer during an incoming call, snooze the alarm clock or pause the music. Shake twice to start an application. Some other features of the Motorola W7 include a 2-megapixel camera and 3G.

Nokia has just announced a special edition 5800 XpressMusic phone that’s destined for the final consumer frontier and ties in with the Star Trek movie. The phone will feature new custom items with a Star Trek theme including four screensavers, three wallpapers and eight new ringtones.

Here’s the best part. It comes with a Phaser application. The Star Trek edition 5800 XpressMusic phone will only be available through Phones 4U in the UK at first, as a part of a limited run on May 1st.

Here’s something that’s slightly messed up. But it’s the kind of thing that carmakers must do in order to sell to Sony loving geeks. A PSP Edition SUV. Citroen is offering their C-Crosser SUV which boldly boasts a PSP sticker that lets everyone know your handheld of choice.

Panasonic has announced its W8 Premium Edition laptop. These are tough laptops that sport an 80GB Intel X-25M SSD with 250MB/sec reading speed and 70MB/sec writing speed.

The notebook comes in three different lid cover flavors including Black, Silver and Pink Splash. No info on pricing or availability just yet. Panasonic simply wanted you to notice them.

Final Fantasy is the game series that just won’t die. Like the Godfather Michael Corleone, everytime you are out they keep pulling you back in. The latest incarnation is the re-release of Advent Children, and Sony’s celebrating with another special edition console to celebrate it.

The upgraded movie apparently features 30 extra minutes of animation action. The new PS3 itself features a 160GB HDD and a matte “Cloud Black” paint job with Cloud’s Strike Wolf emblem applied on top. The bundle that comes with the movie and includes a demo of Final Fantasy XIII will sell for about $550 in Japan when it arrives next month.

All the rooms, weapons, and characters have been changed to a D&D theme. You also get a deck of Wandering Monster cards. When you draw one you have to fight one of the six monsters. If you do this and win, you gain an advantage and can look at your opponent’s deck or get an extra turn. Lose your battle with the monster and get sent to the maze in the middle of the board where you have to roll a die to get out. Comes with six pewter characters and six pewter weapons.

Unleash your inner Karate master with the Nokia N96 Bruce Lee Edition. Yes, it comes with a Bruce Lee doll. It’s awesome yes and no doubt when you use the phone, it makes your voice all out of synch with your mouth like any good karate flick, but sadly it is exclusive to Hong Kong. Expensive too at about $1,286 US bucks, but we’re still tempted. Hopefully we see more phone/doll bundles in the near future. Maybe Chuck Norris and that wandering Kung Fu dude.

To celebrate the success of the movie, and solely to appeal to the ladies, Sony Ericsson has announced the W350i, Sex and the City edition. It’s a limited edition white W350i that comes with a memory stick preloaded with the movie’s soundtrack, three wallpapers, and the video song, “Labels or Love” by Fergie.

Other specs are the same like the 1.9 inch high-res screen, 1.3 Megapixel camera, GPRS and dedicated music controls on the flap. It won’t make you Sarah Jessica Parker, or any of the other women on the show, but maybe it will give you some fashion cred with your fellow ladies.
