Man claims Motorola Droid 2 exploded in his ear

The Motorola Droid 2, like a rookie soldier in Vietnam, has just claimed it’s first ear. The Droid 2 used by Aron Embry of Texas supposedly blew up on him when he was getting into his car. In an interview with Fox4 he claims, “I heard a pop. I didn’t feel any pain initially. I pulled the phone down. I felt something dripping. I realized that it was probably was blood.”

He goes on to explain: “As I got into the bathroom and once I got to the mirror and saw it, it was only then I kinda looked at my phone and noticed the screen had appeared to burst outward.” Maybe the phone didn’t like his death grip?

Many of us do not get the proper amount of sleep. That can be dangerous when you’re behind the wheel of a several ton killing machine. This little gadget sits on your ear and when your head tilts forward more than 30 degrees, a high pitched alarm will sound in your ear. It’s also great for all night gamers. You wouldn’t want to nod off in the middle of a crucial level. It will cost you $14.99 and could save your life. Probably best to get more sleep, though.

EarAlarm ear alarm clockThis Earlarm is a pretty cool idea. It’s a tiny alarm clock that clips onto your ear and get be set to provide a personal notification at the pre-set time.

The functionality is nothing special. You set the time you want it to go off and it does, but the design allows it to be discrete and out of the way. The alarm is directly in your ear so no one else hears it and can be used for times when you need to be reminded of things but might not be wearing a watch or are near an alarm, such as traveling on mass transit or studying at the library.

Having this device wake you up in the morning without waking up others, like in a dorm room, would be another cool application although the Earlarm looks like it may be a little difficult to …
