Use Sony's DualShock on the Nintendo WiiI’ve always thought that turning the Wiimote sideways looked a little strange, but it’s been the only alternative to using one of Nintendo’s old controllers. Well, not anymore. Now you can use your old PS/PS2 controllers thanks to this DualShock to Wii adapter which costs $18.50.

No one will think it’s weird at all, watching you play the Wii with a Sony controller. Maybe you don’t like the GameCube controller, or the Club Nintendo SNES controller. We aren’t judging you. We just want you to be happy.

Playstation ‘DualShock Vortex’ concept is twisted

Playstation ‘DualShock Vortex’ concept is twistedThis concept for a Playstation controller looks awesome, but how does it benefit you the player? The idea is that you can twist the two sides of your controller around. How that benefits you in any way, I have no idea. I can see being able to pull them apart. That gives you more freedom like the Wii controllers. But twisting it at a bizarre angle?

The thinking is that it’s for certain things in game. Like when you are on a cycle. When you twist the controller, you are twisting the throttle. So, its uses are going to be pretty limited. Which is why I don’t think we will be seeing this one anytime soon.

Cyber Smash Grip: Turn Wiimotes into DualShocks

Cyber Smash Grip: Turn Wiimotes into DualShocks
The “magic wand” aspect of the Wiimote may offer better and more realistic control over some games, but many games use the Wiimote in the more traditional old school way. So the question is, how do you make the wiimote more comfortable to use with two hands?

Answer. Just shove it into a new body that makes the D pad an “analog” stick with two DualShock-like grips. Slip it on and off easily. A nice simple solution for games like Super Smash Bros. It may not look super sexy, but it gets the job done.
