Alright so you don’t own a Nintendo DSi LL yet, but you’ve been drooling over it and can’t get enough info, right? Well, here’s a little something for ya. A few lucky folks managed to get their hands on the LL and have immediately and lovingly dissected the device.

Think of it as an autopsy that they’ve performed so that you won’t have to. Have fun checking out the guts of this larger DSi. Unless you’re the squeamish type. We undertstand. It can be hard to look at something you love being so…violated.

That was certainly quick wasn’t it? Just a few days after we heard word from Japan’s Nikkei newspaper that Nintendo was planning a new version of the DSi with a larger 4″ screen, Nintendo has gone and announced it. For Japan. Because as you know from the Black Wii situation, Americans come last as far as the big N is concerned.

This version of the DSi is called the Nintendo DSi LL and will be released in Japan on November 21 for ¥20,000 ($221).
