Enjoy this commercial, which should have been a Superbowl commercial by the way. Just don’t ask us to explain what goes on in the minds of advertising executives. I guess it could be considered a tad NSFW due to butt cheeks. I’m not sure this will sell many extra GPS devices for the company, but it is an entertaining 42 seconds. Not sure what else I could possibly say about it…

Has this ever happened to anyone? And if so, did you hear that popping sound?

Mio selling new GPS unit at Radio Shack

Mio DigiWalker C320Mio Technology announced today the exclusive unveiling of its new DigiWalker C320 at Radio Shacks nationwide. The GPS device is priced at around $300.

The Mio DigiWalker C320 offers up a 4.3-inch color screen which is touch sensitive. It is preloaded with maps of the United States, including Alaska and Canada. It offers up a split-screen interface, voice-guided directions and information on over 1.7 millions points of interest.

Mio Digiwalker C520 GPSMio Technologies, which introduced the DigiWalker C220 just last month, is back at it again with the new, upper-end DigiWalker C520.

The thing which grabs us right away about the DigiWalker C520, priced at around $400, is the 4.3-inch split-screen display. It can be used in either full screen map view or a split-screen which shows off stuff such as upcoming intersections or points of interest locations. The C520, like the C220, uses touch-screen technology to make using it while driving easier. Not that we recommend you fiddle with it while screaming down the highway at 80MPH though.

Another cool feature of the C520 is its enhanced Bluetooth options. It can pair with Bluetooth-enabled cell phones to let you do hands-free calling using its built-in speaker and microphone. It also works with Bluetooth capable car stereos so you can enjoy compatible audio files played from …

Mio DigiWalker C220 GPS

Mio DigiWalker C220 GPSToday Mio Technologies officially released an new entry level personal GPS device called the Mio DigiWalker C220.

The new GPS device from Mio looks to be an impressive deal with a 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen display, audible turn-by-turn directions and a preloaded US map with over 3 million points of interest such as hotels, restaurants, bars and sporting arenas. All of this with a price tag at around $250 makes the DigiWalker C220 a pretty decent bargain.

The US map comes stored on a 1GB SD card and makes the GPS ready to go out of the box. It also comes with software to warn you of locations with potential speed cameras and “mobile traps”, which is frequently updated and a free subscription to this service is available with the device for the first year.

Traveling on foot is not a problem, either. The Mio DigiWalker C220 …
