Sony has three new S-Frame digital video photo frames. The DPF-HD1000, DPF-HD800 frames support HD video play back with support for MPEG4, MPEG1, and Motion JPEG videos captured on digital cameras.

Both frames have an internal 2GB of memory and the HD800 has an 8 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 and the HD1000 has a resolution of 1026 x 600 with a 10.1-inch screen. These new Frames also have integrated speakers and are designed to also playback audio files supporting MP3, AAC, and Linear PCM.

Netflix have now officially announced an agreement with Nintendo of America to stream it’s video content to the Nintendo Wii game console. We had heard it was coming way back in October and now Netflix has rounded out its coverage with the big three game consoles including Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s PS3.

The new deal allows Wii console owners who are also Netflix subscribers and have a broadband internet connection to select movies from a catalog of choices and stream them to their television instantly. The service will be offered at no additional cost to subscribers to the DVD by mail service with Netflix with at least an $8.99/month plan.

It appears that Apple is now taking orders for their new Apple TV for $299 with free shipping, although the device will not ship until February. If you plan on ordering one, here is a quick rundown of what you’ll get for your $300.

The actual Apple TV is pretty small, measuring a mere 7.7 inch square and being just over 1 inch tall, weighing in at 2.4 pounds. True to rumors before the Apple TV launch, it does contain a 40GB hard drive, and it runs on an Intel Processor.

The device is compatible to stream video content wirelessly across any 802.11g/n network, but of course they recommend the Airport Extreme. iTunes 7 is also a requirement to get your media for the Apple TV, of course.
