Elecom introduces the “Un Photoalbum” |
Elecom’s new “Un Photoalbum” is a new kind of Digital Picture Frame that fills the gap between the conventional picture frame and the PMP. The idea is that users can enjoy “holding” the picture frame like they would hold the real photo.
It comes in black and white and features an 8” LED backlight screen with a 1280×768 resolution, has 2GB of internal memory, a SDXC Slot, HDMI out, USB 2.0 and USB OTG, and also supports Full HD Video playback as well as DivX, H.264… Video files. The DPF-A8WM10 series will give you enough juice to display photos for up to 1h30. Anyone interested?




The folks from Sungale gave us a chance to check out their recently released 8″ touchscreen, WiFi digital photo frame and while we were initially excited by seeing the features we felt the actual implementation fell a little short of our expectations.
Those who like to show off family pictures will be happy to know that Jobo’s latest Curve 7 and Curve 8 digital picture frames both have full-screen and thumbnail modes and can display the images as a slideshow with a limited set of transitions. 









Pandigital has revealed a hybrid HDTV, digital cookbook and picture frame for those who never want to leave their kitchens. It is called, aptly enough, the Pandigital Kitchen HDTV/Digital Cookbook/Digital Photo Frame and pricing is set at around $400.
