Just when you thought that digital picture frames were dead, the Pix-Star FotoConnect HD comes on the scene. It’s a 10.4-inch, 800 x 600 digital photo frame with a WiFi radio and it can pull in pics from Picasa, Facebook, Smugmug, Shutterfly, Flickr, and MobileMe as well as others.

This one is unusual as it has support for UPnP and DLNA. So any pictures stored on your home network can easily be sent to it. Get one now for $189 at Pix-Star.com and Amazon.

Kodak was busy showing off some new products at CES. The first is the ‘Slice’ touchscreen camera, which comes with a 3.5 inch rear display, 5x optical zoom, 14mp sensor, image stabilization, and 30fps 720p video capture. It can take up to 5000 images and also sports a new direct-tag feature.

The Pulse digital photo frame features Wi-fi, 512 MB storage and a 7 inch display to view images at 800×600 pixels. Then there’s the Playsport Camcorder, which is rugged enough to endure some extreme situations. It supports HD recording, has a 2 inch LCD, 5 MP still shots, smart face tracking and SD/SDHC card slots. It also has a HDMI output and supports USB.

Landlines may be facing extinction, but that doesn’t mean that Sharp can’t still offer one up, along with a digiframe to entice you. Sharp’s JD-7C1CL/CW cordless phone comes with a 7″ touchscreen LCD display. The display can be used to access basic phone functions including voice mail.

It will also display a clock, calendar, phonebook with images and even your own digital photos. It sports 800 x 600 resolution with 128MB of internal memory. No email support. Available in black and white.
