Here in the cold weather states this is the time of year for warm gloves. Unfortunately gloves and your iPhone don’t mix, unless they are special gloves. You could use a stylus for your touch device, but that isn’t always the best solution either.

So what can you do? Well, if you don’t mind looking like an idiot, here’s your app. A new app called NoseDial lets you dial with your nose. We couldn’t make this stuff up if we tried.

The Zihotch Retro Phone Watch
Rotary dial phones seem to be making a comeback, at least in gadgets if not actual phones. First there was the rotary dial app for iPhone. Now we have the Zihotch Retro Phone Watch, which is a pretty unique watch.

So how do you tell what time it is? You need to make a phone call to find out. Just dial 117 and the you’ll get the time from a recorded voice. Dial the wrong number and you get, “We are sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service. Please check and call again.” It can also be used as an alarm. It can be yours for $79.99.

Older geeks listen up. Do you miss all the fun of using a good old fashioned rotary dialler? You know, back when just entering seven digits took forever, accompanied by that sound of the dial turning back in place with each number.

The iDial is an application for your iPhone that might just bring back memories. Those days were pretty damn inconvenient, but on some levels you might say that we actually had more interaction with our devices. I guess that’s because we did half the work. The iDial is just a download away.
