Samsung is making quite the fashion statement, together with glasses maker, Silhouette, with their new world’s lightest 3D designer shutter glasses. They weigh just 28g, 10g lighter than regular 3D glasses and they have been ergonomically developed so that one size fits all. The glasses can be easily adjusted allowing an adult or child to wear them. Of course they will make their debut at this year’s CES.

Some other features include auto on/off support, wireless charging and you can attach to your normal glasses.

It was previously announced that Samsung’s Armani Night Effect would be available for 300€ on November 2008 in Europe. As for other regions, we have no idea. There’s some good news for people in the UK however. The Samsung Armani Night Effect is available now in the UK, from January 9th 2009.

The phone comes with 2.2-inch AMOLED display screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 120 MB internal memory, microSD card slot and supports HSDPA/GSM network. It’s by no means the top of the range in handsets, but it’s focus is on the beauty of simple design and ease of use.

Being a man of a certain age, rather then a teenage girl, I admittedly don’t get the whole Paul Frank Monkey thing. But that monkey is damn popular. He’s on Pajamas, handbags,shirts, you name it. Pioneer has several new Blu-ray players hitting Europe. The 2.0-compliant BDP-LX91, Designer BDP-LX08 and BDP-LX71 and the BDP-51FD. All feature 1080p24 support, HDMI 12-Bit Deep Color support, KURO LINK, DTS-HD Master Audio / Dolby True HD compatibility and professional-quality Wolfson Digital Audio Converters.

No word on pricing for any of them yet however. The BDP-LX71 is rumored to be coming in September, the BDP-51FD & BDP-LX08 in October and the BDP-LX91 in the cold of Winter.

The Sari is a traditional piece of clothing originally worn by Indian women. The Google Sari is a designer’s attempt at being clever. Of course, if Google doesn’t appreciate it, your Sari may turn into a genuine sorry. It’s from designer Satya Paul, who showed the Google sari in one of his recent shows. Very clever. Or maybe not. I can’t decide. I can’t wait for his next attempt, which is probably iPhone inspired and called the Safari Sari or something. Maybe a see-through sari called Microsoft Touch. That one would be trouble.
