On Wednesday Dell quietly updated its projectors and added the 4210X. This brand spanking new 4210X DLP projector from Dell comes with an HDMI input so you can enjoy high definition movies. The 4210X also supports dual VGA connectors allowing you to connect two computers simultaneously.

It boasts a brightness level of 3,500 lumens and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, an Ethernet jack, component, RCA and S-video connectivity options. The device will produce resolutions up to 1024×768 (with input support for up to 1080i) and has fairly strong image quality.

After a few months of waiting, the Adamo has finally been announced. Dell has officially announced the first machine in the Adamo line, the 13.4-inch model from CES.

It features a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo U9300 with integrated Intel X4500 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD, and it weighs only four pounds, which is a pound more than the MacBook Air. It will cost you $1,999. Seems like most of that money goes toward stuff like a magnetic cover.

As usual the Japanese have scored something before us. In this case they have an exclusive on this new multi-touch Studio One 19 PC from Dell, which looks kinda sexy. The All-in-One “entertainment PC” comes in a bunch of colors to match your life with specs that include a Core 2 Quad processor, 4GB of memory, 750GB hard disk, 6x USB, integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, and NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphics, and a Blu-ray player.

The 18.5 inch display has a 1,366 x 768 aspect ratio with touch or non-touch glass panels. Prices start at about $699 and it will launch in other countries later this spring.

If you’re looking to pick up the Dell Inspiron Mini 10, why not place a pre-order for just $299? While this netbook has not yet shipped, at least you know that your $299 will get you the following: An Intel Atom Z520 1.33MHz processor, 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, 3-cell battery and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Thanks to an agreement with Microsoft, the Inspiron Mini 10 will be powered by Windows XP Home Edition and comes in black. You can always pay more if you want a different color or faster processor.

Dell’s Studio 15 laptop is a decent and budget-minded system, but if you’re looking to get one that stands out a bit, you might want to check out the company’s new Special Edition model, which adds a “Black Vapor” paint job and a 1440 x 900 LED-backlit display.

You can get it with your choice of Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processors, up to 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 graphics. The price is going to be a bit higher than the non-Special Edition models though, at $799, $849, and $949 for the standard configurations.

One of the biggest places that you can save on your power usage in your home or business is by cutting off devices like TVs and PC LCDs that draw power even when they aren’t being used. Dell has announced a new 14-inch LCD that has features for green power savings.

The display is called the G2410 24-inch Wide Green Flat Panel monitor. Typically, 24-inch LCDs have a resolution of 1920 x 1200, but dell cuts the G2410 back to 1920 x 1080, plenty for full 1080p movies and content. However, the gamer out there will be disappointed by the lack of full resolution.

We have heard from several sources — including MSI — that return rates for netbook based on Linux are much higher than return rates on XP-based netbooks. MSI told Laptop Magazine that the Linux return rate on its netbooks was four times that of XP machines.

Dell is doing something that MSI must not be because Dell claims that a full 1/3 of its Mini 9 netbooks sold ship with Ubuntu Linux and the return rate is comparable to the return rate of XP-based Mini 9′s. Dell says that part of the reason for the comparatively low return rates on its Linux-based machines is that it does a very good job educating users on what Linux offers.

The word netbook is a generic term that many consumers and computer makers have been using since 2007 to describe the hoards of small, cheap notebooks on the market. Intel uses the term in its advertising as do many other manufacturers like Dell. I mentioned a few weeks back that Psion had been successful in proving to Google that it owned the trademark on the term netbook.

Dell is standing up for its right to use the term netbook along with everyone else with a filing that claims that Psion’s trademark is no good. According to Dell, the trademark is no good for three reasons. Dell says that Psion has abandoned the trademark and does not intend to resume bona fide trade using the mark.

I really like netbooks, the small systems are perfect for the light work I and many others need to do on the road. Moreover, they are cheap, small and light making them easy to carry and fit into the budget. I haven’t used a Dell netbook yet, but I may consider one now that a new 10-inch version is official.

I was never a big fan of the Mini 9 or Mini 12 netbooks; they were too small and too large. As the antagonist of the three bears would put it, the Mini 10 is just right. Dell says that we will be able to buy the Mini 10 directly from Dell.com on February 26 and that QVC is offering pre-orders on the netbook right now.

The first Dell-branded, ZINK-enabled product is official. And it looks much nicer then past attempts. The Wasabi PZ310 ultra-mobile printer will instantly produce 2- x 3-inch prints, well not instantly, but in under a minute. Users with Bluetooth capable handsets can send images for printing with just a few clicks of a button.

The device measures just 4.8- x 2.8- x 0.9-inches, and you can get one in black, pink and blue flavors. Get one now for the $99 promotional price. You never know when it will rise back up to $149.

Dell’s 12.1-inch Latitude XT2 just got official and has also just been released in Korea. It’s been announced for the US with prices starting at $2,399. It features all the cool features you want in a multi-touch like the ability to pinch to zoom and two-finger swiping. (Which sounds a bit dirty somehow)

How does 11-hours of battery life sound? It also features DDR3 memory. Dell has quietly taken the wraps off a new 22-inch display said to have very solid color representation for its display size. It is called the 2209WA and prices around $300.

The Dell 2209WA is a 22-inch widescreen flat panel monitor, said Dell, which makes use of something called TrueColor to garner “deeper, more vibrant reds, greens and blues.” It offers 1680 x 1050 resolution, 300 cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and a vertical viewing angle of 178 degrees.

I have a Dell XPS M1330 and when I ordered my laptop you could get a small 64GB SSD for around $1000 if memory serves. Like all things tech, as time goes by prices get cheaper and that holds true for the new SSD options Dell has on two of its notebooks.

Shoppers interested in the Dell XPS M1330 or XPS M1730 can add the new Samsung 256GB SSD to the notebooks at a bargain price (for a SSD anyway). The drive in question is the new MLC Samsung 256GB SSD.

The hum of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show is over but we still have plenty of gadgets announced during the show to write on – so hold on as we dump out the press release mail box and see what we have around. One such goodie announced earlier in the show last week was the inexpensive and stylish Inspiron 15.

The Dell Inspiron 15, with a starting price of around $600, features a 15.6-inch LCD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It can be configured with a variety of highlighted features, including up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of hard drive storage, a Web cam and a Blu-ray drive.

Not long ago Dell’s Adamo got official at CES today. The laptop was presented oh so briefly in all it’s anorexic glory and then it left the stage without any specs or even a price. So we still don’t know much. Just that it’s seriously thin and represents the new luxury design franchise in Dell’s laptop lineup. We’ll let you know more when we know more.
