I’m a PC and I’m 4 and a half!

Video: Kylie
In the latest $300 million “I’m A PC” ad campaign, set to air Sunday night during the Grammy awards, 4 and a half year old Kylie uses Windows Live Photo Gallery to send a picture of her fish to her parents. So, now they’re using cuteness, which is a steep departure from their previous attempts. Some of the previous ads were downright creepy.

Cute is probably the way to go. How many 4 year-olds do you know that use a mac? I bet they aren’t as cute as this kid. How Apple will retaliate is anyone’s guess, but the ball is now in their court.

iPhone flash drive is cute

iPhone flash drive is cuteI ask you, have you ever seen a cuter little flash drive? It’s a tiny gumby-looking iPhone thing. It looks like it’s doing a sit up and working out. This guy must have been what all those iPhone nano rumors were about.

Not sure how much data it will hold and it will likely fall apart in your hands after one week, due to shoddy quality and the fact that it’s made from cheap rubber. I think. But just imagine how much fun you’ll have with your little friend before that happens.

Mini Cartoon Mouse FM radio

Mini Cartoon Mouse FM radioI would venture to guess that there’s not many of us looking for a stand-alone radio in the age of iPods. But if you do like carrying around an FM radio, why not make it this cute little cartoon mouse? He’s even got a spring tail, which I assume means that he’s happy to see you. Best of all, he’ll only cost you $6.99, but you’ll need 2 AAA batteries.

Sadly, you can’t even use this mouse as a portable mouse. If I were you I would hurry. Innovation like this won’t stay in stock for long. I haven’t seen such amazing vision in a gadget since the Creative Zen Moo.

HAL 9000 Papercraft: Cute, still dangerous

HAL 9000 Papercraft: Cute, still dangerousIt’s about time HAL had feet, but it may not be the smartest thing to give this unbalanced bot that much mobility. Sure, he’s cute and made of paper, but make no mistake, he still would prefer humans dead. This time it won’t be by shutting off cryogenic chambers and watching humans drift off into space. This time, he’ll use cuteness to get you close and paper cuts to finish you off. If you choose to print and assemble this papercraft version, there will be blood.

Headphonies are cute 3 inch portable speakersIf you need some friends for your desk to help you crank out the tunes, check these little guys out. These limited edition Headphonies are cute and eye-catching. The set includes 5 figures created by different artists and 2 blank versions that you can do up yourself any way you like.

You might expect that the sound wouldn’t be too good with such little speakers, but people who have heard them are saying that they are “surprisingly good.” Each vinyl speaker will be sold in 500 to 1000 limited quantities beginning on November 30th. Thankfully, they won’t break the bank at only $30 apiece

USB Ladybug mouse is cute, clickable

USB Ladybug mouse is cute, clickableYour mouse says a lot about your personality. If you like portability and great design your mouse of choice is probably the arc, while a Baseball fan would love this dorky mouse. Maybe you love the Olympics, but use these Olympic Mascot mice year round.

What I’m saying is that our mice are as varied as we are. What kind of person would use these Ladybug mice from Brando? I’m thinking girls mostly, maybe strange scientist dudes that collect bugs and put holes in the lid. I have no idea, but they look good out in the grass and for $12 you might as well get all buggy. If it doesn’t work out as a mouse you can always mod it to be a desktop Roomba or something.

Monster USB hub is a scary scarecrow for your PC

Monster USB hub is a scary scarecrow for your PCThis guy is kinda cute, but at night I think he might scare you and whisper to you in your sleep, telling you to plug in gadgets so he can feed and grow, using the energy to spin a web and eventually encase you in a cocoon. It will take up to 6 USB gadgets and it’s seventh leg goes to your computer. I guess some guy who really likes bugs had some spare time on his hands. It’s made from fabric and wires and is a great scarecrow to keep your kids away from the computer.

Cute Mouse Phone in a familiar shape

Cute Mouse Phone in a familiar shape
Maybe iRiver should have done something like this with their Mickey Mouse speakers, creating something cute that actually has a bit more of a personality. It’s a cute little mobile phone, perfect for girls of course. It opens up to reveal a 1.3 inch TFT LCD screen.

It has Bluetooth stereo output and the player will play 3GP and MP4 video files. Some other features include a 1.3MP camera, alarm function, MMS, and FM radio. The Mouse Phone may be small and cute, but it’s price might scare some of you off at $225.

Cute Munny speaker dolls

Cute Munny speaker dolls
At first these cute speakers appear to be mass produced and expensive, but that’s not the case. They are actually home made by a Flickr pool member, Fungus Amungus. It’s probably one of the simpler DIY projects you could undertake, since you basically just attach the speakers to the head of a Munny figure.

The important thing is that they look awesome. There really isn’t much info on the actual specs of the speakers, but I want to see the design mass produced. They have a lot of personality and almost seem to be saying, “Can you hear me now?”, while also plotting your demise.
