Street Headphones let you customize text on the headband

Posted in Headphones by Conner Flynn on March 7th, 2010

You don’t see this kind of design on headphones everyday. It’s called the Street Headphone. It has a laser sintered polyamide outer shell, which is created using the rapid manufacturing process. That means you can personalize your own outer shell with something custom etched.

It can be lyrics, your name, or whatever you want others to read. The only problem is the price. The headphones will cost you about €833 (or $1,140). Some people don’t spend that much on a TV. But if you are in love with the idea, then go for it. Hopefully they last longer than most headphones for that price.

DIY Eco Speakers let you decorate and customize

DIY Eco Speakers let you decorate and customize Not everyone wants to pay hundreds of dollars for top of the line sound and quality looks. But others take a more minimal approach to speakers. For those people, you can now purchase a kit to create your very own DIY speakers. As a bonus, they’re eco-friendly.

The kit comes with everything you’ll need for the speakers including things to decorate them with. We find it interesting that they don’t say whether the crayons/pencils are eco-friendly or not. The cardboard set of speakers can be found for $18 through Urban Outfitters. It would be a great project for the kids.
