LG GD900 transparent phoneWe first saw the LG GF900 Crystal back at MWC 2009. Its LGs sexy phone with the transparent keyboard, which gives it a luxurious look. Those who have been captivated by it in the UK should be able to pick up the device in mid-May, since Carphone Warehouse has confirmed that they will be releasing the device then.

The GD900 features LG’s S-Class Touch UI, an 8-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, TV-out and Dolby Mobile audio technology. The display and transparent sliding keypad should support multi-touch input and handwriting recognition as well.

Crystal USB speakers for your desktop
Speakers that look like ice aren’t just for the desktop in Superman’s Fortress Of Solitude somewhere in the arctic. They’ll look good on your desk too. And they are extremely portable and said to be the smallest performance stereo USB speakers you can get for your desktop and notebook.

They only have a 1 watt per channel rating, but hey, they’ll look good on your desk. Like icy bling. They’ll probably make you feel cool on a hot day just looking at them. They’re powered via USB, and acoustically engineered to direct sound waves towards an adjacent chamber for $39.99.

Indiana Jones crystal skull projector

Indiana Jones crystal skull projector
I always knew that the crystal skulls were powerful, but I had no idea that they were projectors. Actually. this far inferior replica looks like it had stitches and has had it’s skull elongated in back. Looks like lucite. Not nearly as attractive as the skulls Indy hunts for. But you have to do what you can when Indy merchandise is few and far between, compared to Star Wars merchandise.

Still, somebody in quality control should have put a stop to this cheesy thing. It comes with a set of slides featuring famous archaeological sites and scenes from the Indiana Jones films that can be projected on a wall when inserted into the Skull. You can pre-order it now for $39.99, and it’s expected to ship in October.

Luna crystal watch concept is beautiful

Luna crystal watch concept
The Luna watch is inspired by Swarovski’s expertise in crystal and Signity’s brilliance in gems. It’s made of crystal, stainless steel and a Spessartite Garnet. The time display is simple, just touch the two contact points and the time seems to magically appear within the crystal.

The idea is that it’s simple in function and also aesthetically complex. So it’s more of a fashion watch. Just incorporate a cell into it and I would say you’ve got a hit on your hands…Or wrist. The odds that we are going to see anything like this anytime soon, zero. But it is futuristic eye candy.
